Went to TMPoint today for SWU, so looks like they maintain my current price but with 6 months waiver, 300Mbps to 500Mbps upgrade together with ultimate+netflix. WIll reconfirm once the upgrade is done.

QUOTE(victor_hoh @ Sep 29 2023, 05:45 PM) So basically you are also getting SWU3.0, 300Mbps plan. On top of that, you pay RM59.90 for Ultimate Plus, RM10 savings . Dont forget the 6months waiver, that is a saying as well WaNaWe900 liked this post

QUOTE(ekestima @ Oct 1 2023, 04:02 PM) My YEP2019 contract ended long time ago, but never get any SWU or what so ever offer, Called customer service they say no promotion saja. I think once awhile need to tell them switching service provider then they'll counter offer. You dont need to tell that you are switching, just mentioned that you are interested in SWU, and what are the available options. Will try to go to TM Point tomorrow to see and tell them I wanna switch service provider see if they give SWU3 SWU is only available for Walk customer. In Retail, its actually a common practice to have different price for Walk, Call and Click customers, due to various reasons and industry. |

QUOTE(joehann @ Oct 5 2023, 01:58 PM) your package and contract are like mine and I successfully migrated to SWU3.0 (VAR+UPB) yesterday. RM149 per month for 500mbps speed with 6 month bill waiver. Looks likeTM took the simplistic way for the upgrade, SWU is almost equals to the current upgrade. Those who are paying higher (since many dont know SWU), poor folks they continue to pay higher but get the upgrade as well.I cannot go with SWU3.0 119 since I'm in contract and got that TV pack bundled together. I guess, those who ended their contract and paying higher, just go with SWU and get the speed upgrade with lower price |

Ya, kids failed to understand the value of money. This is hard to be teach la. Nowaday kids(or I should said university student) are rich badass.... All gaming laptop, even buy new laptop because the old one spoil within 3 years warranty... Me is like: WHAT!???? And... Daily boil whole water of heater just for 500ml of hot coffee, really...??? I look at the gas stove and keep warm bottle, speakless to them while seeing the sky high TNB bill, and me need to pay extra for the gas tank by saving monthly electric bill for them... Good news, so except 800M customers, all will finish update at X`Mas. So Happy x`mas everyone. As for the upgrade, those move to SWU3 will get immediate upgrade. QUOTE(BenYeeHua @ Oct 5 2023, 09:30 PM) He can be hint that better rush for SWU 3.0 RM 119 500M, it might be replaced by this "Better" 100M free call next week... Thats evil Ben! hahaha, Poor guys been on the fence on whats the next step! But those target RM 89 customers can wait, as WiFi6 router with free call might coming soon. Or Might not. Still, if target RM 89, waiting or not does nothing, as SWU 3.0 save 3 month, new RM 89 100M give you free router(WiFi5 or 6), are enough for the saving money target already. sa for my SWU 300Mbps, I received GPON ONU, AX3060 router and UnifiTV black box BenYeeHua liked this post

QUOTE(keong8867 @ Oct 6 2023, 08:05 PM) I,m swu 3.0 before 03/10 , But what if this happen after 1 year, our speed roll back to 300mbps,we go and make complaint, they can say, "when you apply swu 3.0, TM told you the speed 500mbps is only for 1 year, not permanent. But if after 03/10 all swu 3.0 become 500mbps permanent, its different story. Then how if like this On the app, do you see a the notification that you are entitled for free upgrade? if we see that, then that is the documentation its an upgrade after subscribing to 300Mbps, I guess. Probably they merged both activity together |

QUOTE(Max2006 @ Oct 6 2023, 08:32 PM) This prove that TM point is always better than CS. Don't get me wrong. CS may still can help, but it always depend on luck. Not like TM point. You can negotiate, you can argue, you can beg. Straight to the point. Branch A cannot? Then branch B. The success rate is much higher compared to CS. Agree, its always better to go to TMPoint. So to those who are still prefer CS online chat/call, don't waste your time. Just go to TM point la. Even if the distance is so far. No pain no gain. But its not bcoz their service is better but thats how most Retail SOP are in any big organization. There are 3 category of customers thats being served, generally its called Click, Call and Walk, and each had different type budget allocated and marketing campaign and price breakpoint due to various reason and competitiveness within each of this department. In any industry most of the time walk customer has better pricing. |
