800 ->1gbps, 2gbps bet club... next year la... merry Xmas first.

If indeed 100mbps rm89 get upgraded to 300mbps, that's a good deal.

But I think there is no incentive going for 100mbps since it is same price rm89 for both Maxis and Unifi. 300mbps on Maxis at least discount 24 months. After 24 months can change to whichever cheaper.

If all else fail, reset the TP-Link router and reconfigure. After that if still the same, probably the router port rosak

how much total?

Im currently on YEP2019 500mbps (RM179) and my parents want the ruby tv pack.
should I downgrade to SWU3.0 or should I take the free wifi6 router upgrade and wait for 500->800 free upgrade?

Yea i know, my personal highest i saw is 8G on my setup

Most of the problem I saw is the chipset and metal on the port.

You know la, Realtek network card low performance one, I got my china friend set up just 5m to the router, only can set 100M....
While another is I need to use WD40 on the lan port, else the Oxidation on the metal making it unstable.
The power of humidity!!!

These 2, enough to causing trouble than cable la.

The third one is the cable connector not well bind to the cable, that one installer issues la.

Nowadays Realtek ethernet adapter is quite okay. (2.5G card so far so good,I have multiple 2.5G USB adapter all work quite okay)
Intel newer generation Lan card keep having new bugs causing issue.

Hard to say, I also using realtek chipset that running on USB 2.0 lol.
Realtek is a cheap solution, but it also got expensive model.

Well, as long as it is stable.

If unstable, go with Intel la.

Yes, just better avoid WiFi chipset, I got driver issues lol.
They somehow binding the driver with system own clocktime, if your windows sync the time, it will cut-off the network then connect you back on.

It got fixed after that branch version, but then they released new version of driver based on that branch again lol.

Realtek Ethernet is perfectly acceptable though some prefer Intel

for wifi, Intel AX200 is the king for Wifi 6, or AX210 for 6E
do not get AX201 or AX211 unless you can confirm your system supports it (Intel processor required)

Mediatek and Realtek wifi 6 have always been considered to be not as good

ax201 and ax211 is a bit better, but the problem is it bind to that system, and you are forced to buy it if only got that slot provided.

So, normally ax200 or ax210 better for desktop, as you can carry on next PC build.


And yes, Intel full with bug for the driver as well, based on few of my china friends, lol.
Just it is the best out of crap.

So kind hard to say la, driver issues just need to seek the best version, while hardware issues only can swap hardware.
