RB5009 is not powerful enough if you using those things.

I think as the 500mbps have gone down to RM119 without unifiTV plan, our unifi plan might have high chance just straight upgrade to 2gbps plan with or without unifitv plan changes.


And i think most people that using 300mbps or 500mbps in next few month might lose thier public ip soon.
Since all people going up to higher speed plan,and TM may expand the private ip setup to higher speed plan that non 1/2gbps plan. (or maybe 500/800mbps will still having public ip)

If need pay more then no.
Just pray for at least free upgrade to 1gbps with old ultimate plan is acceptable.

unless you are using less than 50mbps,then that's not point for using the dedicated vlan for iptv.
The dedicated vlan only consume 8mbps for unifi iptv (if they didn't change the limit and setting from few year ago).

And dedicated iptv vlan setup will occupy one port of your router,not worth if your have more device.

If i am not wrong,ultimate plan can get free unifi plus box for free. (I saw "Add FREE Unifi Plus Box" on unifi website after login unifi account and click the current using plan.)

It should be renew for the unifitv contact only.

Yes,it will works with your previous BTU and router. My friend already tried his previous BTU with 2gbps plan works.
So as long as you using 1gbps plan or below,just use your current BTU also can.

Just tried with ultimate pack from year2019,can watch hbo channel with mobile app.

Private IP unifi user need to pass 1 more unifi gateway before access to public internet,and some people said sometimes their internet experience might be worse.

Although i still using Public IP,i can say 1 big issue with Private IP-
Public ip unifi and private ip unifi cant talks directly, which causing P2P connection is not possible,and the latency will be super high between this public ip and private ip due to more networks hops and might need to transmit with out of unifi network.

Newest Korea drama on "Disney+ Hotstar" didn't have Chinese subs...
I just use vpn to Singapore for using "Disney+" and more movie and drama can be watch,and with chinese subs...

I had subscribe for "Disney+" and use it with VPN. (Not using Hotstar account for "Disney+" only)
I using private setup vpn with Singapore location.

Ya,i might just buy the gpon stick from Anime4000 (Just spend money to let professional do the jobs...haha )
and buy a 2.5G fibre ethernet converter and Analog Telephone adapter from Taobao to replace the Dlink ONR...

Currently still using Mikrotik RB5009 ,and the SFP+ port already use to connect a 2.5G switch,
so i could only get the fibre ethernet converter to get the 2.5G ethernet with gpon stick to connect unifi.

Estimated spending:
Gpon stick not sure how much, will ask Anime4000 when i really need to replace
2.5G Fibre ethernet converter around RM70-80
ATA adapter RM200...

I login the unifi page,but nothing like your guys got something wrote below the plan...
No tick and X at all....

No tick no X no word...They just excluded our special discount plan...
Hopefully they will calle us for free upgrade with contract renew...
