Just got chance to drop to TM Point Damansara Utama today

Original package : UniFi Ultimate LUXE 300Mbps + UniFi TV Ultimate Pack (OLD) = MYR 210.95 (+6%)
- Internet contract ended
- UniFi TV still contract 20 months


Option 1 SWU3.0 : UniFi 100Mbps (Permanent upgrade to 300Mbps) + UniFi TV Ultimate New (No Netflix - ONLY Ultimate Plus & Max got) + 6 months waive bills
= MYR 179 +6% (MYR 189.74)


Option 2 SWU3.0 : UniFi 300Mbps (Permanent upgrade to 500Mbps) + UniFi TV Ultimate New (No Netflix - ONLY Ultimate Plus & Max got) + 6 months waive bills
= MYR 179 +6% (MYR 189.74)


Changes that I notice from previous discuss SWU3.0:-



1. RM 99 - 100Mbps (Still available- Cannot add UniFi TV any pack)
2. RM 119 - 300Mbps (Still available - Cannot add UniFi TV any pack)
3. RM 149 - 300Mbps + VAR Pack (No more)
4. RM 179 - 100Mbps bundled Ultimate New Pack (Permanent upgrade to 300Mbps + 6 months waived bills) > Updated
5. RM 179 - 300Mbps bundled Ultimate New Pack (Permanent upgrade to 500Mbps + 6 months waived bills) > Updated

* According to TM Point Damansara Utama permanent upgrade speed offer will be Sep onward
** UniFiTV Ultimate New pack can't be purchase online and only in SWU3.0
** Contract 2 years as usual on any changes

Yup I saw on their screen... not allowed to take photo what logic still no think

one of them slowly said TM want to push higher speed subscription for better UniFi TV streaming

eh should it be 500Mbps? why 300Mbps

Is it SWU3.0? I subscribed on Wed and restart my Modem after 24hrs only get the 500Mbps download & 100Mbps upload

I'm using own router have you try restart Modem & existing router?

owh no wonder... nope I'm previously subscribed 300Mbps, just matter of setting at TM no appointment for Technician since speed not involve router for me

I still have previous D-Link DVG-F2452 in the box, if anyone need it for free can pm me


Depend on how much you're paying now... in SWU3.0 for 300Mbps only RM119

If change Ultimate pack to New Ultimate pack will cost RM179+6% (speed upgraded to 500Mbps + waived 6 months bills)

Indeed my intention same... paying RM 210.95 on previous subscription (300Mbps + Ultimate pack)

So with SWU3.0 reduce a bit RM 179 + 6% (RM189.74) for 300Mbps bundled Ultimate New Pack (Permanent upgrade to 500Mbps + 6 months waived bills)

still consider worth it

If your current already on par with SWU3.0 then maybe wait for later... I only manage to reduce -RM21.21 from previous monthly, only that 6 months waived bills seems worthy too

The New Ultimate pack only gave me xtra Disney which not much to me

less than 24hrs for me

Monthly RM189.74 are the price forever... Only 6 months waived bills, on 7th month start charge

later after 2 years contract end then survey again

Yup my Ultimate New pack still have iQiYi and not yet activate Disney+

without Netflix

Yes... UniFiTV on contract renewal due to technical issues and need change UPB box

So true SWU 3.0 on 300Mbps > 500Mbps



+ 6 months bills waived + Ultimate New pack @ RM 179 + 6% = RM 189.74 (ave RM 142.31 for 2 years then )

need more info... can't achieve on WiFi or LAN cable? if WiFi need to check your Router

btw have you try restart both Modem & Router after the upgrade?

Few things need to reconfirm when you have received the msg of "Upgrade completed..."

1. Power Off.. wait few second and Power On back both Modem & Router
2. Do speed test using LAN cable... NOT WIFI because WiFi on some Router can't get you download speed >500Mbps

Most upgrade not require any installation unless you're on very2 old devices (>3 years back)

If you do speed-test using LAN cable from Router to computer should get Download >500Mbps & Upload >100Mbps, and with AX90 using WiFi at least Download >400Mbps & >100Mbps Upload achievable
