If u dont like ur PC generate heat then i advise u dont get it. They had review samples which had an earlier version of the BIOS. = Fan speed stuck at low percentage. Updating to a new BIOS makes it considerably cooler.

Wondering here, between 2900GT/Pro and 3850 512MB edition, which is better?

QUOTE(akachester @ Dec 8 2007, 09:07 PM) Wondering here, between 2900GT/Pro and 3850 512MB edition, which is better? 2900GT is out of the question (sucks) 2900PRO has 600Mhz clocks vs the 660 something of the 3850. A 512MB 3850 definitely pwns the 2900PRO, and overclocking to 2900XT/3870 speeds is a no-brainer (make sure you fix fan control first though)
