How about getting HIS? Or get the cheapest and use a 3rd party cooler like Thermalright HR-03, ThermalTake DuOrb or Arctic Cooling Accelero SR2?

Hear that 8800gt 256mb is faster than 3870 and 3850 at lower resolutions and now it's selling below 600 at bulk sales.

So is ATI closing their shop?

I'm playing Bioshock, Gears of War and Hellgate London on 1920 x 1200. I'm anticipating Assasin's Creed and getting Crysis after I finish Bioshock and GoW. I think I need that OC bit.

Actually I don't know why they don't like the second pic. The second pic actually looks more slightly realistic than the first one, but then again I like high gamma settings smile.gif

I'm still waiting for the arrival of HIS HD3870 Turbo Edition to see if it could out beat the 8800GT or even comparable with the new 8800GTS. That would be interesting to consider when it happens hmm.gif

Crossfire has issues with Vista 64bit...or vice versa.
