There's no G100. It's either D9M (mainstream), D9P (performance) or D9E (enthusiast). There's no R780 as well. It is RS780...but then again, the roadmap may change and it could be R780.

2X 3850 512MB, ~ RM1400, Performance >>>>>>>>> 8800GTS New. Especially at 1920*1200+, or even 1600*1200 with AA.


BTW, try using the tent filters (Wide Tent 2X/ Narrow Tent 4X)- they don't shimmer AT ALL in lots of games, which makes them a lot closer to the cinematic experience than other cards. Performance might be lower in high resolutions especially, though.

Wow...you guys Croosfire like mad. I only buy one card at a time. When the game demands more graphics, I'll buy another card to pair it up...Buying 2 cards at a time...don't seem like a viable option to me. Better to get one greater performance card now, but keep in mind that it can be extended later through Croosfire/SLI. Thus, HD3850 is not an option for me.

aiyoyo, 3850 for me would be ideal bday present already..weigh money against need......

if you are into 3rd party heatsinks, then u can pimp them up...

3850 (512MB) is for the extreme tweaker.

With some mods here and there it can go quite far in clocks whilst still being cheaper than the 3870 (headstart for a waterblock), the "Conroe" of graphics cards .

900-1000Mhz (and beyond) is quite blazing/amazing, to the stage where it should beat the new 128SP GTS for about 60% the price (considering you'd be using a waterblock on the GTS too). Shouldn't use that much power too.

lolx...since it's already changed d fan to 3rd party 1...and occupied 2 slot like 3870...should b a highly potential oc card leh...hehe...full solid cap some more...can std heat...d only thg is it uses 1.2ns samsung gddr3 :{

dunno hws the overclockability, but my colorful 8600gt (normal edition) can overclock memory frm 700 to 950mhz without problem...but core only can 540 to 620mhz...

colourful card can oc geng but the looks aiya dont have the power Gc look
