hi.. i just got my ETA refusal for me and my family. is there a professional that maybe can guide me before i spend another few hundreds ringgit for another application?

i dont mind paying the professional as long as its reasonable

Did u use the phone app to apply? Which type did u apply?

If u use the ETA app they will not refuse you outright, they usually as for more information from you (unless you fall into certain criteria, visa is approved within 10mins), once u furnished them with the info usually they will issue you the visa…

most probably because i didnt upload my letter of employment kot.. sebab the reason the gave was i got no incentive to go back to malaysia eventhough i have gave them the flight + accomodation itinerary

did you provide bank statement too?

unfortunately you have to wait at least 3 months to try again and no other agent can help you with this

U should they given them exactly what they want… if u try to skirt around, usually they reject outright………... And don’t simply bring food in, declare as it is, else u will kena fine…

Im gonna apply balik in the next week or so lol if not burn my ticket and accomodation .. few k there.

they asked for more information, i provide to them as best as i can at that time. However after rejected i did some research so now will be asking my company to provide a letter saying im going on a holiday and coming back to work after that etc..

hopefully this will be enough for them.

I just did mine with family 2 weeks ago. Only uploaded payslip, flight and hotel (fully paid non refundable). Trip for total of 11 days. Approved within 7 business days.
Was there a reason given for rejection?

Usually no reason for rejection is given

From my experience, the first time I've applied last year, i didn't even have flight and hotel booked since my meeting with client was not confirmed to exact date.
I still applied ETA and got it approved within a day. This year, for the whole family, even with flight+hotel, it took 7 days.

i applied for ETA in 2022 and only submitted bank statement without employment letter, accommodation and flight ticket and got it approved after 3 weeks. same goes to my mum.
my aunt who applied around the same time get rejected with the reason insufficient supporting documents but she submitted FD statement. she tried again after 2 months also rejected but 3rd time approved when she try again after 1 year.

The process is not dependent on having flights and accomodation. An unknown algorithm vets your ETA application data, and if passed, you get your approval within 1-2 minutes.

If the algorithm flags you, then an email is sent automatically (also almost instantaneous too) where you will be asked to register and submit supportive documents. That's when you submit flights etc, but that's not the information they want. Their decision is based on answering one simply question: "is this person likely to overstay the visa". Humans are involved at this point so the turnaround varies. They are interested in evidences you will not jump plane, like having a stable job, own residence, commitments in your home country etc. Bank accounts aren't really helpful, it's not difficult to temporarily pad up accounts.

so i will try to show my motivation to come back to malaysia as i memang dont intend to stay there la haha.. malaysia is the best

The process in 2022 was much delayed because of backlog and lack of humans processing. It was resolved by early last year.

They dont even know who you are, how they know if you intend to stay or go back?

Upload all the details and salary for the whole family. Put your FD and savings.

If your salary slip for rm 5000 for 9 people, sure la kena rejected.
All that 9 ppl going be illegal strawberry farmer.
Then show how you going to fund your expenses there.
Bank account rm 900 but want to go aus holiday for 2 weeks with 6 other ppl.
But only upload the bank account for rm900.
So obvious that you will be strawberry pickers la.

So when providing information, if you apply for yourself include everything about yourself.

If you applying for whole family, u better show enough documents that whole family has enough money and not be strawberry picker

Hey you are so dumb..
people already tell you twice.
You got paid accomodation or flights does not matter.
Aus immigration does not care you already paid for your hotel and flight. They do not care.
Excel file means nothing to them.


You need to show you will not overstay which means your company salary slip, your sister company salary slip, your father bank account.

You need to upload the below items

1. SLIP GAJI TERKINI SEMUA ORANG YG AKAN KE AUSTRALIA
2. BANK ACCOUNT STATEMENT TERKINI SEMUA ORANG YG AKAN KE AUSTRALIA

Yes bro and already did that. What was missing in my first application was my letter from company hence requesting it from my boss as we speak

i cannot remember but i think i also attached my house geran since it's in my cloud anyway. tad of abit overkill considering the saving i have when i give my bank statement also.

but all in all, they ask for A, might as well give A+B+...+Z. don't need to play hide and seek with them.

i also got attached itinerary for my AUS trip, but not in detail as it is just a very rough schedule. just like several days at here, then go there.

and i also bought flight tix before applying ETA which is super high risk.
