Do not "fill in form". You are reapplying for a different visa (601) if you do and will need to pay another AUD190.

After registering, go back to the email, and click the link. You will then get to the page to enter your data for your ETA (600).

Ya.. i click the link from the email ..the link provided in the attachment correct?

From reading the email, yes. The link is to the ETA. Good luck !

Ya the problem is when i go to the immi website to provide additional details when i put the eta application number

They said my eta application number cant be found.

Possible ke for eta to just be issued without any other documents? Haha if by end of the week still nothing might need to call them up.

Last time in 2016 eta was not this hard. Just isi some form pay tak sampai 24 hours approved using easyeta last time

Did u use the phone app to apply? Which type did u apply?
*
i applied using the phone app for the ETA visa

most probably because i didnt upload my letter of employment kot.. sebab the reason the gave was i got no incentive to go back to malaysia eventhough i have gave them the flight + accomodation itinerary

did you provide bank statement too?

unfortunately you have to wait at least 3 months to try again and no other agent can help you with this

Im gonna apply balik in the next week or so lol if not burn my ticket and accomodation .. few k there.

QUOTE(evangelion @ Feb 21 2024, 11:26 AM)
If u use the ETA app they will not refuse you outright, they usually as for more information from you (unless you fall into certain criteria, visa is approved within 10mins), once u furnished them with the info usually they will issue you the visa…

U should they given them exactly what they want… if u try to skirt around, usually they reject outright………... And don’t simply bring food in, declare as it is, else u will kena fine…
*
they asked for more information, i provide to them as best as i can at that time. However after rejected i did some research so now will be asking my company to provide a letter saying im going on a holiday and coming back to work after that etc..

hopefully this will be enough for them.

cursing all those haram worker over there making life hard for real tourist like me

last time i went to aussie tak sampai 24 jam eta already approved.. before pkp la tapi

I just did mine with family 2 weeks ago. Only uploaded payslip, flight and hotel (fully paid non refundable). Trip for total of 11 days. Approved within 7 business days.
Was there a reason given for rejection?

. Following dueconsiderations of this evidence, I am not satisfied the applicant’s personal circumstances aresuch that they have sufficient incentive to return to their country of residence at the end ofany stay in Australia

luckily got

so i will try to show my motivation to come back to malaysia as i memang dont intend to stay there la haha.. malaysia is the best

They dont even know who you are, how they know if you intend to stay or go back?
U write MALAYSIA THE BESTTZZZZ
Also no use la, what can immigration deduce from that?

Upload all the details and salary for the whole family. Put your FD and savings.

If your salary slip for rm 5000 for 9 people, sure la kena rejected.
All that 9 ppl going be illegal strawberry farmer.
Then show how you going to fund your expenses there.
Bank account rm 900 but want to go aus holiday for 2 weeks with 6 other ppl.
But only upload the bank account for rm900.
So obvious that you will be strawberry pickers la.

So when providing information, if you apply for yourself include everything about yourself.

If you applying for whole family, u better show enough documents that whole family has enough money and not be strawberry picker
*
Bro ofcourse i didnt write malaysia the best in my application haha

Ya i also thinking of uploading the excel file yang i did when i was planning the vacation with cost breakdown etc

The flight and accomodation is already paid and non refundable

Hopefully better outcome 2nd time round..

Hey you are so dumb..
people already tell you twice.
You got paid accomodation or flights does not matter.
Aus immigration does not care you already paid for your hotel and flight. They do not care.
Excel file means nothing to them.
You need to show you will not overstay which means your company salary slip, your sister company salary slip, your father bank account.

You need to upload the below items

1. SLIP GAJI TERKINI SEMUA ORANG YG AKAN KE AUSTRALIA
2. BANK ACCOUNT STATEMENT TERKINI SEMUA ORANG YG AKAN KE AUSTRALIA
*
Yes bro and already did that. What was missing in my first application was my letter from company hence requesting it from my boss as we speak

Thanks for the info but ur delivery can be softened a bit maa. U want to scold scold that illegal strawberry picker that makes our lives hard 😂

I got my Australia ETA processed and approved within 2 weeks.
From what I learned, you need to attach as much info as possible

Show them your house, your car, your bank balance, your EPF balance, your current pay slip, your tax filing

You need to show their Immigration Officer that you are not there to "jump airplane".
They are quite strict because a lot of Malaysia "jump aeroplane" there.

When it comes to Australia Immigration application process, it is one of the best in the world because at least they are clear about what they want. Don't listen to ktard that never even tried to apply for one before

Apologies, but as long as got enough salary and savings to show that’s the most important la actually.

no, I did not get my documents certified/verified at all. maybe try as the forumers here said, provide as much documentation as you can to prove that you'll be returning to MY. good luck!

understood..

another thing to ask.. the documents macam geran and some of my penyata account is in malay, do i need to translate it to english or just leave it as be?

my penyata account basically majority of my saving is in tabung haji .. and their penyata account is in Malay though

hello just wondering if anyone faced a similar problem to this? I already email to the ETA team though meanwhile i just want to get some opinions.

In the midst of my 2nd ETA application for me and my family.

Was rejected for whole of family on 21st february . .wanted to apply again today.. but only my wife is eligible, mine and 2 kids is not eligible..

But all 4 of us was rejected on 21st february due to same reason. Is there any reasons for this?

or just some system screw up?

eh sorry should have clarified further.. my whole family got rejected during the 1st eta application.. but when want to apply 2nd time, only my wife's application that is able to proceed with payment.. mine and the two kids tak dapat.

Yes. No rhyme or reason … I would imagine if the application is made as a family unit, with children some more…. Entahlah

Make sure your documents are good. It's hard for them to reject if your documents are beautifully prepared

Have you jumped plane to Australia before

Have you been refused into any countries before
*
i have went to australia before, never abused the ETA before.. although that time i went with my parents, this time im going with my own family.

never been refused into any countries before so far.. hopefully doesn't start now sweat.gif

When you say rejected, it is really rejected or it is just in a "cannot be finalized" status where more information is required?

I guess with the Australian immigration, really have to give all possible information (esp those financial related) that you have to prove that you will be coming back. Makes life easier for them and for yourself as well

Some that I can think of:
Employment letter, leave application letter
Recent payslips (3 months)
Bank statement (with sufficient funds)
EPF Statement (plus any other significant investment statement)
LHDN EA form
Housing loan / geran with your name on it
Children school enrollment letter

If you're self employed, company SSM registration, form 49, company bank statement are useful as well

Every bits of information helps for them to determine if you're a genuine tourist
*
betul2.. that is why i want to apply 2nd application and giving letter of employment .. this is one of the missing documents yang i didnt gave before.. cuma now i want to apply the ETA in the app again only my wife yang can proceed with payment, myself and 2 kids they say not eligible to proceed with payment..

IDK whether its because server maintenance or due to rejected status or what..

if rejected status then my wife pon rejected ma.. so pelik rclxub.gif

QUOTE(lokgotz @ Nov 12 2024, 12:38 AM)
Just wanted to share my experience.

I applied for an ETA for me and my parents, seperately, about 2 weeks ago. My parents' ETA was approved almost immediately like always. Mine however, needed extra information.

Background, I've been to Australia, well Sydney, since early 90s. Been there probably more than 10 times, so many times that I lost count. Previously my ETA was granted almost immediately. I used to apply ETA about 1-2 weeks in advance because it's more or less granted previously. However, after hearing the horror stories from friends, we decided to do it about 4 months earlier.

The last time I went to Sydney was in 2018, before the current ETA system was in place. Then Covid happened and I didn't travel to Sydney since then. This is the first time I used the current ETA system for myself. My parents' ETA has always been approved immediately.

Anyway, I created an ImmiAccount and they wanted proof that I can support my stay and also it's a temporary stay. I thought ok, I just send in my bank statement, which is more than enough to support my trip, and a return flight ticket which proves that I'm coming back to KL.

4 days later, I was refused. The letter said that they are not convinced that I have sufficient incentives to return to Malaysia at the end of my trip.

So since I have experience on what they want, I prepared myself. About 1 week after the refusal, I applied again and uploaded these:-

- MyKad
- Birth cert
- Marriage cert
- Drivers license
- Passport
- Letter from company
- 3 months salary slip
- 2 years EPF statements
- 3 months bank statement
- FD statement
- House title
- Income tax filing (BE form)
- Hotel booking (didn't upload it the first time)
- Return air ticket

My ETA was then approved 3 days later.

I have no idea what worked and what didn't but I guess my advice is to upload everything they ask, even if you think some of the things don't matter (like house titles, Marriage cert, etc), and answer everything truthfully.

Good luck!

EDIT: I also gave them information on my two previous passports which were used to travel to Australia in Form 1554. Like I said, I don't really know what worked and what didn't. I just gave them every bit of information that helped.
