Not easy if don't have family members in AU.

My parents got their visas approved within 24 hours because my sister is PR there.

I was told AU don't need visitors because the country itself is not tourist friendly.

Actually it is a malaysian problem.
Too many people jump plane then causing malaysians to have more stringent checks.
Any Singaporean automatically instant approval. Dont even need relatives in aus.

This happened long time ago, I was with my friend, and I was literally last at the immigration counter, the whole hall was empty, and they went through my occupation, asked for details, etc I provided as I have ZERO intention to jump aeroplane.. I did not realize what happened till this was mentioned.

But I do not look like one  cry.gif  cry.gif  cry.gif

Guess that’s how many malaysians overstaying in Australia until so stringent. Malaysian for eta need add so many documents, singaporean just press submit pay the fee in 5 mins approved. Dont even get to the document page

Look presentable also kena. The one who went with me was senior manager level lagi. we all chinese, malay, indian (1 malaysia). I wore t-shirt, jeans, sneakers.
*
Dont think its a matter of presentable.. i wear shorts and slippers on to flights towards aus. Never kena question before.

With technology these days, you would have been screened before hand and any red flag of yours will be highlighted to the officers already

Don't you all use the e-Gate when you clear immigration in Australia? I don't know whether it's because we are PRs or not, but my wife (she carries a Singaporean passport) is eligible for e-Gate use (no counters), and I use my Malaysian passport via the e-Gate (SmartGate), no worries. Don't even have to see the immigration officer's black face.
*
Primary check
So if you are flagged as high risk, the smart gate will prompt error and ask u to go to manual counter.

Secondary check
is those immigration officer that holding tablets after the smart gate that will intercept you after you pass the e-gates if they see you as suspicious

Shit. I can't believe that I've been travelling back and forth Singapore and Sydney (I'm still Malaysian, holding the 2nd most powerful passport in ASEAN) every other month, and I've been totally blind to all this! I just walk through the e-Gate and collect the bags at the belt. Half the time, we get waved through customs check as well, because we always make sure we pack our food stuff in a separate bag, ready for inspection.

I'm going to look out for these guys this coming visit .... just for fun smile.gif

At immigrations there are those checks, quite fun to look around and observe.

Now i have been keeping an eye on customs. Because they seem to be quite random.. sometimes im not even carrying any checked-in luggage also kena stop. Sometimes with 2 huge checked-in luggage never kena stop for scanning.

Feels as if its totally based on how your face looks or how the officers mood

Haha. Some may say that's racial profiling!
*
I remember once i was asked by customs on where i was from, i said singapore -> malaysia and the custom officers just waived me off.

So i guess they use a combination of board point, airlines type to see if its worth to scan you

But yeah borderline racial profiling haha

I know a few Malay friends that couldn’t get the visa no matter what they tried.

They even went and begged in the embassy but they were not allowed to apply for normal visa (because we are eta country), and they didn’t provide any reason for rejection (they say they don’t need to)

They wanted to go for they cousins wedding and she and they family are Australian citizens. Even the Aussies send letter to home office and foreign ministry also they don’t care, reject only
*
Only 1 reason why you are rejected, not enough money and high risk to jump ship and be illegal strawberry picker.
If you got 15-20k salary, few days will will approve already.

But if your salary below rm 6k and want to go there holiday?
With your 6k u go into Australia also spending like back packer style, jimat here jimat there cannot even boost the economy. Then if you jump shit be strawberry picker causing so much headache for law enforcement.
The cons so much more compared to the pros.
Singaporeans instant approval cause of currency

Good that they didnt put reason, if not sure kena viral say aus rasis to malaysia. But in fact is that malaysians like to give problem to other malaysians

. Following dueconsiderations of this evidence, I am not satisfied the applicant’s personal circumstances aresuch that they have sufficient incentive to return to their country of residence at the end ofany stay in Australia

so i will try to show my motivation to come back to malaysia as i memang dont intend to stay there la haha.. malaysia is the best
hopefully my 2nd application is approved for the whole family
*
They dont even know who you are, how they know if you intend to stay or go back?
U write MALAYSIA THE BESTTZZZZ
Also no use la, what can immigration deduce from that?

Upload all the details and salary for the whole family. Put your FD and savings.

If your salary slip for rm 5000 for 9 people, sure la kena rejected.
All that 9 ppl going be illegal strawberry farmer.
Then show how you going to fund your expenses there.
Bank account rm 900 but want to go aus holiday for 2 weeks with 6 other ppl.
But only upload the bank account for rm900.
So obvious that you will be strawberry pickers la.

So when providing information, if you apply for yourself include everything about yourself.

If you applying for whole family, u better show enough documents that whole family has enough money and not be strawberry picker

Bro ofcourse i didnt write malaysia the best in my application haha

Ya i also thinking of uploading the excel file yang i did when i was planning the vacation with cost breakdown etc

The flight and accomodation is already paid and non refundable

Hopefully better outcome 2nd time round..
*
Hey you are so dumb..
people already tell you twice.
You got paid accomodation or flights does not matter.
Aus immigration does not care you already paid for your hotel and flight. They do not care.
Excel file means nothing to them.

You need to show you will not overstay which means your company salary slip, your sister company salary slip, your father bank account.

You need to upload the below items

1. SLIP GAJI TERKINI SEMUA ORANG YG AKAN KE AUSTRALIA
2. BANK ACCOUNT STATEMENT TERKINI SEMUA ORANG YG AKAN KE AUSTRALIA

Yes bro and already did that. What was missing in my first application was my letter from company hence requesting it from my boss as we speak

Thanks for the info but ur delivery can be softened a bit maa. U want to scold scold that illegal strawberry picker that makes our lives hard 😂
*
Sorry bro must be bad mood that day hahaha.
Apologies, but as long as got enough salary and savings to show that’s the most important la actually.
Others like itinerary is supplementary info.
Hope you get your approval soon
