Hi all, i have a few question

1. Where is the cheapest rate assuming i work in PJ/Hartamas area?
2. I do frequent Gardens Mall and i see a few reply above offering quite a competitive rate, however i do read online that it is not really good for battery health in the long run if we go for supercharger/DC?
3. Do you guys charge every single day or once a week? Assuming KV city drive to work/home

Got slow CPO AC chargers in my condo and office.

But when i see my Tesla apps, my god the supercharger fee is almost the same as other CPO slow AC charger that usually charge rm1 = 1kw ohmy.gif

Might as well supercharge terus biggrin.gif tongue.gif

1. Tesla SuperChargers are the cheapest, other provides not even come close (speed & price). You may check the app for their charging rates in different location/timing and plan ahead. If you’re lucky enough, you might get a chance to use Tesla’s free destination charger.
2. On the battery health issue, the impact is almost negligible. Tesla’s BMS is very very effective and you can safely use superchargers as you need.
3. As I do not have home charger available, I charge outside and on roughly weekly basis. If I’m lucky to meet a vacant destination charger, I’ll not be hesitating to go for it anytime 😌 batteries are happier that you charges them frequently than wait until very low SoC only recharge.

Will share regarding your question on charging every day.
To me, basically it is a mindset shift away from how we did it with ICE vehicles. Don't wait until your down to the last bar only start to refill.

Especially with ACs, use the top-up concept, whenever you can just top-up to 80% or 100% depending on battery chemistry.
With AC, if you got the luxury to do it charge it daily (e.g landed prop), then go ahead charge it daily.

If you are not using the car daily (say only once or twice a week), then slightly different perhaps charge till 50%-60%.

But as per what huiqing88 said even with DC, I've read elsewhere, that frequent charging with DC has negligible impact to the battery health or degradation.

Tesla Llumar Window Tint
Front windscreen - AIR88 - 10% dark
Front side windows - PIPL65 - 30% dark
Rear side windows - PIPL35 - 65% dark
Roof glass - PIPL35 - 65% dark
Rear windscreen - 65% dark

Hi guys, i have a question here.

I recently installed the car tint with Tesla Approved Body Shop, and im facing several issue, would like to ask if its normal

1. My front windscreen is constantly not being able to use Smart Tag (this is a hassle as I have yet to install RFID)

2. My rear windshield is having this problem (refer picture), is this the installer fault or the Llumar tint really have this issue?

user posted image

3. Finally, every single piece of tint around the corner/dead end area have small bubble, is this normal and i have to "wait it out" or "put it under the sun" to let it go away?

It's my first time and I have made complaint on this however it's Sunday today and they will only attend to me soon.

Thank you all.

My original pair started streaking at 8 months, and 99% covered parking.

Most recommend PIAA, but I have not tried. Can't bring myself to fork out 2xx for a pair of wipers.

Initial switch to Kamatto - but that lasted me 6 months
Now on Trapo and so far its looking better than Kamatto

3rd pair of wipers in less than 2 years. LOL

Just curious about the trade-in step up program for Model Y.... so if I trade in my ICE car now instantly is RM15k off? This amount can be used to offset the downpayment as well? What if my current car still under loan? And how do they value the car, do they go by their own estimation or they partner with another party like carro or carsome?
