QUOTE(Harddisk @ Feb 5 2025, 04:24 PM) If you are interested to look at PPF, I'd suggest you hold off on those accessories first. most likely not going for PPF.. no bonus this year Dot Garage PPF packages come with some of these accessory items bundled in. if the car is too hot due to the sunroof, might consider the p10x one, or just sunshade QUOTE(Xirality @ Feb 5 2025, 04:35 PM) planned to get 3M but outsideQUOTE(arthas @ Feb 5 2025, 05:26 PM) i did mine with Tesla, under 3M.... whole car RM2550 initially i wanted to, but i was told that they dont use the high end Crystalline series for all, so im still looking around..Service Installables good thing is u can collect ur car which is already tinted.... but it may not be dark enough for certain ppl |

I noticed some free chargers require you to bring own cable.
But which ones on shopee/lzd is good? Also, is our tesla charging at 16A? So get those 11kw 16a is good enough? |

QUOTE(celciuz @ Mar 4 2025, 08:02 AM) As long the cars are moving fast, no promotion. Expect about October-ish for the bank loan etc to come back. Might be too late to get tax free price if u have to register before 31st dec. I did my booking in dec 2024 and only got the car in feb 2025. Some booked in nov also only got it in feb. But yes, promo year end will be better |

QUOTE(beetutx @ Mar 14 2025, 11:36 PM) Hi, I'll be joining the M3 family soon and have a few questions to ask here: 1) just charge at tesla destination chargers for free or any available chargers?1) Can I just use a portable charger, probably charging around 1.8-2 kWh using a home socket? I drive less than 500 km per month. 1.1) If yes to the first question, can you suggest which portable charger you guys are using? Thanks! 2) Which tinted brand is recommended? Do I have to tint the sunroof, or can I just buy shades for it? sorry if question repeated, still reading all 74 pages discussion now. just to share, i live in condo, so i couldn't install wallbox or 3pin but my condo did installed chargers (but need to pay). So I rely on TDC if lucky. So far only charged down my condo twice (in a month). I charge once a week. 2) I did my tinting at 3M cheras mahkota, full crystalline except front (ceramic) for smart tag. RM2699. Depends on your budget, but yeah it will still be hot, so if you cannot tahan, get the shades but i will just vent or turn on the aircon before getting into the car. |

QUOTE(sansaboy @ Apr 11 2025, 07:58 PM) Time to change tyre Hankook ion or bridgestone turanza. If u want cheaper option, u can go for non-ev tires. Any recommendations for the tyre brand model ? The stock e primacy is meh... Often slippery on the those wording at floor in front those toll gate pilot sport ? QUOTE(huiqing88 @ Apr 12 2025, 10:16 PM) Sorry if this has been asked before - has anyone tried to do tire rotation at Tesla service center before? I tried to request service from within Tesla app and gotten a cost estimate of RM362 for just tire rotation, which I felt is very much on the high side. I know this can be done outside, just that with the experience with many tire shops out there, many are not really experienced with dealing with EVs or Tesla, specifically. I would want to avoid damaging either the bottom of the car while jacking up (if didn’t do properly) or scratch/damage the wheel cover or rim… Can try any lim tayar. Ask if they have the lifting pads before you proceed.Recommendations of any good and experienced tire shop that you’ve experienced are welcome… KL area. Thank you 🙏🏻 |
