Ok that makes sense but that means that China's CLTC which claims to be using the benchmark for city driving is even more ridiculous (I heard some reviewers say that China's CLTC/NEDC were meant for China city driving conditions).

Tesla is also cheating customers by using the higher WLTP range which is unattainable in their promo materials. Nowadays cannot trust any companies.
*
Actually I've not seen any reviewers achieving the WLTP for Tesla. I feel Tesla's WLTP damn off la compared to the rest sweat.gif

M3LR 18" is 141 Wh/km for the EPA ratings, I think is about 110 Wh/km for WLTP...

I've only gotten 110 Wh/km drive when driving late at night... smooth road... between 80-90 km/h lol.

There are rumours that the Tesla Supercharger station in Ipoh will be located at the upcoming Sunway Ipoh Mall but the mall is still 3 years away from completion.

Hopefully Tesla will look into this and try setting up another supercharger station at another location in Ipoh while waiting for the completion of the mall.

Finally pulled the trigger on M3 LR after a lengthy consideration. biggrin.gif

Would like to ask few more questions here.

- Have gotten the VIN but not the motor number. How long is the waiting period between VIN and motor number assignment?
- Anyone has gotten the metallic sputtered tint like Vkool and IRIS pro? Does it impact GPS/ mobile signal?
- What are the tested and must have accessories?
- Charging practice for LR to reduce battery degradation. 80% is the recommended daily limit for LR, but some well-known youtubers mentioned even lower limit like 70% or even 60% if only doing frequent short trips daily. Would like to hear the opinion from actual owners blink.gif

There is then another issue with the car Wh/km indicator… which never right and usually reports lower. The right one if you are able to reverse calculate from energy app is accurate (matches to those third party data such as Tessie). Not sure which usage is the bottom right one excluding off.

1. +- 1 month maybe, your choice of interior color also got affect i think.

2. No idea on this, using 3M so far everything is good

3. Phone holder, console trays, back trunk mat, sun shade, screen protector

4. Usually charge to 80% for daily use (SOC is usually kept in the range of 40-80), sometimes if lucky get TDC thn i will charge to 85-90% my advise is dont worry too much on the battery, you got 8 years warranty. If you need to use it just charge only.

metallic tint definitely will degrade gps and mobile signal strength, also you will not be able to use SmartTag

if you have home charger, charge it when below 50% and stop charging at 80% if you want your battery survive more than 10 years.

It seems like Tesla has secretly removed the supercharger 'pin' at Ipoh that was pinned for more than a year. Damn what is going on with the long awaited Ipoh supercharger?

Any recommendations on installers for the wall connector? I have been told that my car will be ready for delivery end of November. Your info is much appreciated.

If you want your wallbox ready before car delivery, can contact Tesla to get their certified installer listing, then chk the price with them. They can get wallbox from Tesla and install for you before delivery.

Have a look at the fb/whatsapp Tesla groups, there are a bunch of recommended installers that folks have gone with and are happy with.

I went with a company called IGP, happy with how they handled the whole process with clear explanations and no issues since the install.

At the time was cheaper than going through Tesla approved installers.

I used IGP as well, contact Alvin 0163814786 directly. Previously is 1.8k or 1.9k for back to back install.

Go for Tesla Approved Installer. Price wise not much difference actually. Also i know that after installation they will take picture and write an official report to be submit to Tesla. So they know if you engage other parties to do the installation.

Might affect your warranty claim if anything happen with the charger if you opt for other installer. I did mine with approved installer for RM2k only
