iRonTech : don't put the page file on a RAM disk, it's redundant that way since the page file is only used when there's not enough RAM and the only thing you're doing with that is taking RAM away from the system

i had try the 8804 ROM which has BIOS option for change the FSB from 70 to 100. But the problem is, the Wave-out.....the screen display has wave....Unable to change the refresh rate which fixed on 60Hz...
Alot problem use that BIOS too. Such as fail to load the driver like Display, audio, wifi and more. But able to solve it by uninstall the ACPI and reinstall back. (recommend format again to get a complete problem free) But the Wave still there. |

QUOTE(yoroi @ Dec 12 2007, 01:14 PM) yeah saw that already... sounds too complicated for me to do by myself... besides i only use my eeepc for surfing and msn hehehehehehe... so 600 is more than enough... i wanted clock it to "normal 900Mhz"...but afraid ASUS might hide some BIOS issue on battery ACPI vs celeron |

Enough lar... so powerful for what. That defeats the whole purpose of the Eeepc anyway. If want powerful, top up a couple hundred and buy a celeron-m notebook instead lor.
