QUOTE(yoroi @ Nov 22 2007, 03:31 PM) marketing of the eeepc has been odd at best... most people don't understand that it can be a companion laptop at best, so they shouldn't expect blazing performance... if you can accept that its a fine machine... it will definitely replace my D810 for email + word processing 900g weight beats the hell out of my compaq 2.3kg when i am carrying it around |

QUOTE(k0k_w31 @ Nov 22 2007, 07:29 PM) U can ask for the name of the technician. But make sure u double confirm and check with them. i asked the same thing tooI'm jz call up in this morning, they said can be upgrade the ram by ourself. But after i saying the RAM slot cover got a warranty sticker on it, they told me need to bring the unit back to service center for upgrading. nvm, i will check again tomorrow. even double confirm with the fact that we can bring our ram over to their side , also asked if any charges incur the thing is they have to ask ppl around them to double and triple confirm in the end , they advised me to call later hopefully we can get a definite answer soon |
