you can change it at the bank you want to mask lo... you can move it around. But 1 active mapping at any one time

If someone have your number... they already have your name, because that's like the most basic data leak in Malaysia.

And this isn't the US, when they search your number in DuitNow the worst thing they can do is.... send you money.

well, for me other's cant get my info by my phone number via duitnow. in fact i'd like to stay anonymous especially when dealing with unknown. for example the number 0123456789, now we all know who are the owners and can further search who are these ppl if we want to. whereas on tng transfer, we can use a nickname.

The repeated data leaks (telco and gov related) over the years means unless you regularly change phone number, your phone number, email address, name, and IC number should be considered 'publicly available' information for those with the motivation to find them out. So your 'anonymity' is only for random people without intention/motivation.

that's true. however that doesn't mean we shouldn't be careful. just like many here who doesn't even want to share unmarked ic to the banks or to declare source of income etc. i guess everyone has their own reasons eventhough all these are 'publicly available'.

I did my own calculations on Jan interest and the calculated amount and amount credited differs significantly. Can experts here who could get the interest calculation right previously double check the new interest for Jan and verify this.

I think i also face same issue. Daily interest should be amount x 4%/366. Been able to tally with formula above since june last year.

But for january interest, based on my calculation, i suspect they only calculate up to 23 Jan 2024

Mine also differs. It seems like the interest is 3% instead of 4%.

lol…common on everytime their promotion expired. need to call cs and complain

I have just received another line of interest, date this morning 7.40am, maybe the difference. I did not calculate

called CS, they are aware of this issue. Everyone is affected.
CS said customers should get credited with the remaining amount by end of today.
Means will have another deposit from rize, so keep an eye out for it. Like another poster above got another credited transaction
