I am a lite user current Maxis user paying 30Mbps for RM 89 permonth without tax. I have deco M4 connected via Lan.
I am out of maxis contract and waited months for fiber price to drop. I cant wait, intend to switch, is digi fiber better than Maxis ? is it worthwhile to contract for 2 years ? |

Their technician only change the modem without changing the port or router originally set by unifi. And i think digi fiber is arguably the cheapest of the main telcos. $100 for 300mbps. Oh wwit, this one requires a postpaid under digi/celcom iinm. So next cheapest plan is maxis fibre. Rm145/mth for 300mbps plan but free for the first 6 mth. maxis call me that package is fair, and warns me to be careful before switching over to digi celcom, short of saying I will regret it. so can I know if digi celcom is that unreliable ?

So for the 300Mbps package, the price is actually RM120 if your Digi/Celcom plan is between RM60-RM89, or RM100 if your Digi/Celcom plan is RM90 or above
Any one knows whether you get public IP with it? Since I am using Digi 60, RM120 is not much different from Unifi's RM129 for 300Mbps. Looking for any extra benefit to entice me over |

QUOTE(nnannon24 @ May 11 2023, 05:15 PM) They finally reached out to me!! Unfortunately, but can I do this transfer without dealing with TM Point? It's kinda hassle to go to TM Point from my area no, it's compulsory to go to the nearest tmpoint to transfer your id to digi fibre.Maybe through maya.unifi or unifi support agent(online)? nnannon24 liked this post

QUOTE(funnyTONE @ Apr 9 2023, 09:14 AM) I think what they meant was that there is no available port for 300mbps in your place. So there's limited ports based on speed?Could be that all ports already been taken. If 300Mbps full means must take 100Mbps? If I use 300Mbps, then I can't downgrade to 100Mbps because 100Mbps port could be full?? |

QUOTE(Natsukashii @ May 11 2023, 08:12 PM) So there's limited ports based on speed? If we think it logically, your 300mbps port will lost and there's an empty or unoccupied port, surely you'll able to downgradeIf 300Mbps full means must take 100Mbps? If I use 300Mbps, then I can't downgrade to 100Mbps because 100Mbps port could be full?? |

QUOTE(GameSky @ May 12 2023, 10:00 AM) if you're just normal user, doesn't have to host private server, or port forwarding...then shouldn't be any problem. One more thing I curious about is the ability to create a 5gz band and rename ssid on my own which I'm able to do in unifi. Do you think we can do that in CelcomDigi as well? |

My current situation is unifi under father's name and wanna port celcomdigi fibre under my brother's account since he has Celcom 98
The digi sales girl says cuba port saja and get the transfer request ID (Note: within 24 hours) Went to Unifi next day but they say ownership different so proceed to do ownership transfer RM10 and success within 24 hours. Then whatsapp the Celcom the status and request for transfer request ID but now they like ghosting us for 48 hours now :\ Sales girl says keep ping them lolz ... |

QUOTE(PRSXFENG @ May 12 2023, 07:56 PM) There is also TNB Allo/City Broadband which deploys their own infra oh yeah allo, tho i read a lot disconnection issues in their thread.Maxis, U Mobile and some others ride on that as well seems goin to cancel my digi fibre application, not worth the the time waiting like 5 days without any news, even the digi agent also told me no updates from their fibre team.. baru fibre team, they just need transfer id, and plug n play new router.. ini baru part registration dah macam ni, if later got problem entah how long i'm goin to wait it to solve. even tho digi and postpaid combined will become cheaper bit, but then if like this also slow, how la troubleshooting later. guess im gonna stay tm, heard they do offer swu 2.0 at tmpoint.. no rebate on digi postpaid is ok if like this, rather than kena sidai like this without any updates from them. My new fiber registration as below
4 May - Registered online at celcomdigi fiber website 7 May - Reregister at Celcom Bluecube outlet as WhatsApp with CelcomDigi still did not provide installation date. Only obtain info since 4 May. Noticed Celcom staff registered my details in page showing Digi logo. 8 May - Got installation date on 11 May evening 11 May - Digi staff come configure router in afternoon. TM staff come later in the evening to pull fiber. The distribution box behind my house is full, need to pull from another box further which left one last port after I've taken up one. Noticed the PPOE ID given is @digi.home.tm Digi provided Zyxel EX3300-T0 router. TM provided ZTE ZXHN F620 GPON ONT Able to get 49M - 51M download and 20M - 21M upload with 50M package. Same day later Digi emailed with a mobile number which will be my fiber account number which I need to use it to register in MyDigi app for billing. |

I'm just a light internet user thus so far so good. Do not know on way to test international connection.
Torrent seems able to reach full speed. Since it is based on Digi, I was given private IP. |

got the installation done, they provided zyxel ex3300-T0 router obviously you're given private IP, so far tested same experience as on unifi will test on different peak hour time, so far for routing should be the same..tried online games that I played most, same latency. for the router, not bad, it's way better than fibrehome router even it's just stock zyxel router . Really lousy service are you new user or existing tm? if you're existing user, then you need to give them your unifi installation address (on unifi website). if you're new user, just take photo on the nearest "tm white box" with number, send to their whatsapp. Not sure why, their "fibre" team doesn't really check on field, mostly if they doesn't reply you mostly meaning they can't find the unifi port address for your application. Luckily the digi agent here being helpful where they keep on check daily see the status and keep followup with me. If you go to the digi centre, ask them to open your application status, what did they remark there, for mine last time was unable to find the address due to my address and unifi address was different. QUOTE(normality78 @ May 20 2023, 12:22 PM) Was wondering about this. As digi and maxis do ride on TM infra, scared being ping pong around when fault report made. My experience was quite pleasant, though I have only requested for technical support once in my almost 2 years with Digi fibre. I am able to get technician to fix the line within 2 days, and the Digi tech guy even called me to choose appointment date and time. According to him, appointment slots have to follow the slots from TM, as both personnel need to be at my house to troubleshoot. Anyone else can share on digicelcom customer support experience? QUOTE(nnannon24 @ May 28 2023, 11:22 AM) My contract will end this November. So far the experience is almost similar than when I use Unifi. The only small cons I found is that, if using Unifi 100mbps, your speedtest probably show like 102mbps, but on Digi fibre 100mbps, you get like 99mbps or ngam ngam 100mbps.Somehow my upload almost above 50mbps. Anyone one Digi broadband always get random constant few seconds timeout/disruption? Example if you ping google.com continuously, you will get timeout few seconds randomly. I just subscribed to digi few months ago and since day 1, it is like that until today.

Me tested with Cheap China OEM Y510-82M 5G Modem, can't get any 5G signal, only 4G is detected (Still manage to get ~50MPBs DL, ~20Mbps UL), after Change to expansive 1K Three MC801A, stabil connect to 5G (~500Mbps ~50Mbps UL). HAPPY User now.

I hate Celcom, their Home Wireless service is dogsh*t and its gotten worse after it's revealed they are pilot testing on merging their network on my area. I used to only experience downtime couple times a day, now its packet loss, high latency, and modem signal loss every minutes

QUOTE(GnarsAttack @ Aug 23 2023, 10:39 AM) Do speed test using cable. Especially at the time you know the speed is gonna reduce to 100mbps. I think it should suffice for you to tell them you are subscribing 300mbps but only getting 100+mbps (attach speed test results). |

On phone 5ghz, get 300mbps. Whats the issue here? |

For fiber service reliability and stability, better use unifi.
CelcomDigi fiber is also using TM infra.. Even Astro Kencing also use TM infra and always have disconnection problem. |

So seem like some bot/zombie sharing same IPv4 for you, you can only restart router to switch another IP which don't get shared with bot. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zombie_(computing) Or better, use mobile to scan QRcode for login. They just conveniently copy Unifi plan. At least Maxis through their agent offer some discount for the whole 2 years contract duration. |

They just conveniently copy Unifi plan. In this country. Want cheaper fibre broadband plan..need to transfer or get counter offer..it gonna be interesting what gonna happen if Maxis really can get 1 million fibre customer...that mean they can do so many "offers" back by many customer who overpay their internet bill..right now, CelcomDigi just play catch up game with 50mbps/RM85 per month..this ISP need to grow their customer base to cover..back in 2018..i rarely heard TM at that time "offer" free 3/6 month bill..they just copy Maxis strategy.. At least Maxis through their agent offer some discount for the whole 2 years contract duration. TM HSBB. It either you go with Unifi or Maxis..that the smart customer.. |

even the digi cs on chat and centre staff gave different answers.
On digi chat support: will use the new pricing starting nov. digi centre staff: oh noes, new pricing only new user, existing still pay same amount as you now. lel.. since digi and celcom merged, they become bit more fakap dah.. no reason to stay, even with their postpaid + fibre no longer feel worth already with new pricing tier. Planning to get 500Mbps If you are on public ip then definitely don't. Old celcom contracts has the best public ip with its static subnet. Celcom generally has more stable network (can't remember the last time celcom had nationwide or even regional downtime or slowdown episode) But unifi got ipv6 and telephone and faster TAT in case anything bad happen to your physical fiber. If you are newer or never requested public ip then better just move to unifi. |

I think TM Unifi much better, they have perks like 'Stay with Unifi' these kind of thing after your contract end. |

Just went to digi store and they said can just do it in the app but according to support have to go digi store. Like wut? Super confused. Edit: Also they have 6 months free offer right now for postpaid customers. ![]() This post has been edited by vccy118: Nov 14 2023, 01:15 PM |

QUOTE(vccy118 @ Nov 14 2023, 01:11 PM) ![]() So apparently you need to switch over from old digi fibre to celcomdigi fibre to get the price reduction. Just went to digi store and they said can just do it in the app but according to support have to go digi store. Like wut? Super confused. |

QUOTE(vccy118 @ Nov 14 2023, 01:22 PM) On the old digi fibre plan 100% definitely no price reduction, so those one old plan have to switch. Now just waiting for them to sort this out internally and call me back. on my previous post, they gave different answers.. no need convert. digi celcom should have proper guideline on their customer services.. |

QUOTE(C_ST @ Nov 14 2023, 09:11 AM) No... it can be both Time & TM as the backbone, its common in KL condo. In addition, Time does not share its infra with Maxis, Digi yes, Umobile i dunno. Yes it does. You can subscribe CelcomDiGi and Maxis Home Fibre on TIME infra. Just as in Allo.I will suggest, go for the cheapest one, change it after 24 months contract, which agent offer huge promos |

But then again im still salty that the new 300mbps price is only rm1 cheaper than what I currently pay. I enjoyed everything about celcom network. I subscribed unifi for my office and Celcom for home. In term of network quality Celcom is far superior in many aspects. But if they are treating their customers like this while making record high profit, Im going to switch to same price unifi 500mb for my home next year, out of spite. |

My Nov bill still the same without price reduction. Must be unlucky as I called twice and both CS told me the same thing. The second CS even offer me to change to new plan and said contract will not renew which I am very doubtful. Also other digi cs told me no need to migrate to new plan or change anything, everyone will be migrated to new pricing structure automatically... Since I am on 100mbps, even with price reduction it's gonna be rm99. Therefore I decided to switch out to enjoy free months and get cheaper price at rm89. |

You will be upgrading to the new Celcom Digi 500mb plan so the price technically should follow new one. Not quite sure. Since the in old contract upgrade is not same as changing plan. Everything run as usual, just wait 24 hrs for new speed and prorated bill to take effect. no need to sign anything new or reset 2-yrs commitment. Changing plan is more like moving from celcom timur infra to hsbb with all new contract and stuff.Looking at how they handle things lately, there's possibility they won't fully honor the old contract and make me sign new one with 2 yrs lock in, citing the new pricing is offered by Celcomdigi, not Celcom (as defined in old contract) anymore. QUOTE(chupapi_munyayo @ Nov 19 2023, 06:20 PM) Bro same old celcom fiber customer, contract ended Free as in no admin fee or any string attached. Just call, wait 24hrs and pay new rate (as opposed to downgrade with rm50 penalty). No speed upgrade or price reduction What do you mean upgrade is free? Upgrade to 500Mbps? Or I should switch to Unifi 500Mbps@RM159 I plan to upgrade to 500mbps for few months before porting out to unifi. Lots of my network setup are revolving closely around the fact that Celcom offered a static /24 subnet for their public ip. Unifi doesn't have this advantage. Also lots of my remote servers are deeply tailored to Celom's peering network. so I need some time for reconfiguration and testing before porting out. If you are not already invested in any advantages of being in Celcom network, better take Unifi. Got phone. Faster TAT if cable break. Network quality going to be quite meh, but as "fuck you" gesture to Celcomdigi its already worth it. This post has been edited by failed.hashcheck: Nov 20 2023, 02:45 AM |

QUOTE(GameSky @ Nov 20 2023, 06:33 PM) mine was previously on digi fibre since i signed up via digi centre x postpaid last time...and terminated postpaid and just left the fibre. When I first sign up also the same, but yours now shown as Celcom Digi, mine still show as Digi fibre. seems new pricing reflects on nov bill, after tax. I sign up in nov 2021 switching from Unifi. |

To all master here, here to check with you all.
I currently is a TIME user, and I am thinking of shifting to the CelcomDigi Fiber plan. I don't like TIME because they have very limited technicians to cover my area (Pandan Cheras) and at weekends normally unable to set the appointment schedule to check the issue. Right now they offer me 500mbps for RM119 exclusive SST. it look a bit attractive but i wish to try another telco. To all master, for those currently using CelcomDigi Fiber, any big issue? how is the connection? stanble? |

QUOTE(leelazens @ Jan 24 2024, 12:13 AM) i torrent and download a lot of stuff (non torrent & big file) on unifi, No difference mostly. But could be better.should i expect difference if i switch to digi fibre from unifi? thanks On my unifi 500mb, when downloading something from many oversea locations, I can hardly reach 150mbps on that single server. Tm international gateway is way too congested or probably capped. On my celcom 300mb, lots of time I am able to saturate the whole 300mbps. My take is, if you live with family with many users downloading from many different servers, unifi offers better value. My experience with tm so far whwn it comes to oversea server is like having several 130mbps aggregated into 500mb. Bad for single user, but no prob when many people use at once. But if you live alone and want every single mb you paid gets to actual use, celcom offers better performance for this. But they don't have concept of customer loyalty or retention in their business book, so expect to pay the same amount you pay today for next 5 years. leelazens liked this post

I'm currently paying 150 for the old digi data plan (4g) with (unlimited hotspot), and a 99 Time (100mbps).
Recently celcomdigi launch the 260 - 50 (for existing customer). which gives unlimited 5g and unlimited hotspot, and comes with 300mbps fiber. If i switch, in theory i spend less but gain more. what is you guys take on this? is the switching fiber from time to celcomdigi painless? |

Time has been rock solid so far but it makes economic sense to swap since I am using high value CelcomDigi package for my phone line. |

Plus your are entitle to take subsidiary phone at their lowest monthly commitment of all their plan. So that's a plus. successfully port out from Celcom fiber (300mbps) to Unifi (100mbps).. can't stand the lag and high ping.. CS is always useless..
I use 300mbps alone, youtube sometimes buffering. Twitch.tv much worse.. watching 480p also buffering.. Diablo3 EU server not playable at all, 300-500 or more ping.. This post has been edited by Sabenarian: Mar 11 2024, 02:35 PM |

Hi all, recently my dad signed up the CelcomDigi Postpaid 260 with free fibre
Successfully transferred from TM to CelcomDigi (10 times with MCMC report) Then everything is ok until I checked IPV6. There is no IPV6 address provided in their router (Skyworth) and I changed my own router (prev for unifi) and changed VLAN and PPPoE username and password. Internet access up and working but IPV6 is not working (worked on unifi). Technician came today but he say he don’t know also. Asked Digi Fibre CS they say v6 on their end is working and dispatched a technician came which told me he don’t know about this. |

Just gotten the latest Celcom fiber bill, was on 300mbps - 2 years contract, mid last month gotten free upgrade to 500mbps, however this months bill have to pay extra RM50-one off for the upgrade due to some pro-rated charges (Celcom Service advisor explain). After that next month bill will revert to old 300mbps charges, is it fair? can i raised to MCMC? as the free upgrade its auto opt in, only turn off its the extra RM50 which is one-off as advised.

The TP Link router provided by Celcom Digi has broken firmware in it. It uses custom firmware made for Celcom Digi. But this firmware seems to be broken and buggy.
Issues faced when using this firmware: 1.DNS resolution does not work properly. 2.Device becomes unstable, using Wifi and ethernet is not stable. Hope Celcom Digi and TP Link fix this. This post has been edited by GOPI56: May 17 2024, 12:56 PM |

Hi, I'm interested with the CelcomDigi One Ultra promotion - and it comes with the 300Mbps fibre plan. Does the Fibre internet have any FUP? My current usage on Unifi is 1.3TB download and 2.4TB upload, so I'm quite worried if I get FUPd. Thanks in advance.

QUOTE(SilentVampire @ Nov 4 2020, 10:56 PM) I’m just going to answer briefly. You should research this yourself, as there are plenty of resources available online for you, and I’m only answering this as I’m free and want to help you understand better. Dynamic IP is shared over multiple households. If you want a dedicated IP address, it is referred to as static/fixed IP and TM does offer that, but be prepared to fork out a huge sum of money. Public IP can refer to both dynamic IP and static/fixed IP. It means that your IP is viewable or can be seen by other devices over the Internet. Private IP is private, and is not viewable or seen by other devices over the Internet, If you want to get technical, it is between those ranges of IP address below: 192.168.0.0 - 192.168.255.255 (65,536 IP addresses) 172.16.0.0 - 172.31.255.255 (1,048,576 IP addresses) 10.0.0.0 - 10.255.255.255 (16,777,216 IP addresses) See here for more: https://whatismyipaddress.com/private-ip. Thought Digi is a good telco supplier but omg the post sales support is beyond terrible. So, 30th sept my router cannot be powered on and after 2 days of complaints they managed to set an appointment for me but it will only be happening on the 7th... Meaning they are expecting me to have network down for 8 days. Then i offered to bring my device to any of the center they said you can but there wont have stock for replacement..... So i asked them why 8 days of wait they said need to have digi and tm engineer to go to my place for troubleshooting... I was like what ?!! For a router that cannot be powered on ? Kononnya sophisticated 😅 i jist changed to Digi 6months back.... Regretting it now.
Digged up an old router but pppoe cant connect and i dont know how to setup dynamic ip(**Any sifu can help pls**) 😅 so yea... Network still down and my kids kept asking is the network up yet.. fainted . So reconsider if you wanna go digi. This post has been edited by hellforce: Oct 2 2024, 02:05 PM |

QUOTE(hellforce @ Oct 2 2024, 02:02 PM) Thought Digi is a good telco supplier but omg the post sales support is beyond terrible. When Digi get the MCMC report they will try to speedily resolve the case. |

BTW to setup you have to make sure Digi Fibre is on what infra, so that you can select a proper VLAN. Then make sure your password is correct up to the letters and numbers, heck even mine have confuse 0 or O. 😅 ![]() ![]() |

CelcomDigi Fibre 2Gbps launch this month. Anyway, it runs on Digi network as mention by some forumers here. And, no public IPv4 access. Most likely, the modem supply by TM is the same as Maxis. Which is Skyworth brand that runs on single 2.5GBe LAN 1 port. According to FAQ, most likely available in TM & CTS infra. Looking for the price at RM319/month. Most likely still long to go before Malaysian can get access to gigabit home WiFi experince like our North & South neighbour...

Hi guys
I’m using TM unifi for years already + Disney hotstar bundle I’m thinking of switching to celcomdigi ultra one bundle RM 261 for 3 lines + 300mbps fibre + Disney hotstar bundle It’s a steal I’m just wondering whether celcomdigi is stable ? I’m not a gamer , what I need is a stable internet that’s all And also I realise u will mention about public IP What’s the significant of it ? |

QUOTE(keropi88 @ Nov 1 2024, 11:59 AM) Hi guys From my past experience it is much more stable and more often than not Celcom will remain online when TM had nationwide breakdown.I’m using TM unifi for years already + Disney hotstar bundle I’m thinking of switching to celcomdigi ultra one bundle RM 261 for 3 lines + 300mbps fibre + Disney hotstar bundle It’s a steal I’m just wondering whether celcomdigi is stable ? Public IP allows the world connect directly to your computer that opens up possibilities of advanced networking use case right from your PC. If you currently use TM 300mbps and below and have no complain, means you don't need one. Because those packages are not public IP. |

Just install the CD fiber that riding on Allo infra. Vlan ID 101 and using pppoe @celcomhome ( since my plan is on celcom also)
They provide Nokia ONT and EX-510 router ( which basic function ax3000 only) So far internet work well as for now but really have issue on routing to Zscaler server on Singapore. Tried both hotspot on 5g celcom also same issue. No issue on Digi 5g phone hotspot and hotlink. |

QUOTE(HayasakaAi @ Aug 19 2025, 09:25 AM) ermm. IMO, better stick to another ISP. unless your postpaid is already high end tier then you can take CD fiber with CD one plan, which better value. If fiber only, stick with other ISP.Why? because when there is issue, your contact method is only whatsapp and call which no dedicated support for fiber( you ticket will lodge by normal CSD, and takes time to re route to network team. CD fiber under Digi is fine, BUT CD fiber under celcom is meh. It will follow ypur master postpaid number |

I have done installed new CD fiber in my place. satisfied with the speed but speedtest cannot reach more than 1gbps. don’t know if it is limitation on the ONT ethernet port or the GPON itself
sometimes there is problem with whatsapp though 😂. keeps connecting. if your place is covered by allo infra, please take the CD fiber offer ![]() This post has been edited by HayasakaAi: Sep 3 2025, 05:25 PM |

Do you think it is better to get another router from CelcomDiGi or recommend another router that can configure the VLAN required for CelcomDiGi fibre?

QUOTE(CKyoon @ Sep 25 2025, 07:46 AM) I am considering getting two Deco X50 units to replace the Ex510. I am wondering if we need to configure VLAN on the X50 in order to work? yes, you have to configure vlan on the x50.I think you just select the vlan profile and enter pppoe on the deco and you are good to go. My CD fibre was installed today under the TIME infrastructure, which I had previously used. Earlier, I asked at DIGI, and they told me Unifi.

Normally my issue is pppoe seassion server hang. So cannot initiate connection.last time mine suddenly got no internet for more than 1 hour. First report to cd until get the report number. 2nd, make mcmc report and said this is inconvenience and you need to fork out own money and time to go out and find internet. Try to appeal for rebate. Sometimes get whole month rebate. Sometimes they only compensate only day of incident so only get 1day rebate. |
