QUOTE(iXora.ix @ Aug 19 2025, 03:33 PM) ermm. IMO, better stick to another ISP. unless your postpaid is already high end tier then you can take CD fiber with CD one plan, which better value. If fiber only, stick with other ISP. got offer 1Gbps for RM110 with 24 months contract. too good to pass 😂Why? because when there is issue, your contact method is only whatsapp and call which no dedicated support for fiber( you ticket will lodge by normal CSD, and takes time to re route to network team. CD fiber under Digi is fine, BUT CD fiber under celcom is meh. It will follow ypur master postpaid number |

QUOTE(iXora.ix @ Aug 21 2025, 06:37 PM) really sus. proceed with caution. Most of the time agent will mention it will riding on tm/allo or own infra, example mine CD fiber under allo infra get rm50 rebate every month i saw another ads on that have the same offer. the offer seems available only to area with allo infraother way is ask someone from your place that using CD fiber. which infra they riding to be safe |

QUOTE(iXora.ix @ Aug 22 2025, 11:51 AM) if under allo then should be okay as I also under allo. If possible take under CD Digi fiber, CD under celcom fiber has some upstream issue. trust me, you wont regret to select digi than celcom as home fiber my pppoe is @digi.home.04does this mean my service is under digi fibre? |

I have done installed new CD fiber in my place. satisfied with the speed but speedtest cannot reach more than 1gbps. don’t know if it is limitation on the ONT ethernet port or the GPON itself
sometimes there is problem with whatsapp though 😂. keeps connecting. if your place is covered by allo infra, please take the CD fiber offer ![]() This post has been edited by HayasakaAi: Sep 3 2025, 05:25 PM |

QUOTE(CKyoon @ Sep 23 2025, 08:59 AM) Do you think it is better to get another router from CelcomDiGi or recommend another router that can configure the VLAN required for CelcomDiGi fibre? what router are you using rn? ex510?generally, any aftermarket router will be better than the isp provided router |

QUOTE(CKyoon @ Sep 25 2025, 07:46 AM) I am considering getting two Deco X50 units to replace the Ex510. I am wondering if we need to configure VLAN on the X50 in order to work? yes, you have to configure vlan on the x50.I think you just select the vlan profile and enter pppoe on the deco and you are good to go.
