Coming from unifi user who has spent 24 months of being jilat, decided to change my potion.

One thing tho, how do you all manage your payment and bill? I'm afraid if there's no convenience like MyUnifi app.

Final word, any unifi experience that migrating to CelcomDigi? Share here larrr

Digi was integrated with Celcom to make Fibre possible which is a good thing if you're already a Digi postpaid subscriber. However, CelcomDigi Fibre is still using TM Port for the installation so it's an easy troubleshoot if you're curious about not getting the coverage within your area:)
SoyaCincau already made this comparison(April 2023) and I found out that it's a plus thing even though you're not an existing customer for Celcom/Digi line to get CelcomDigi Fibre ✌🏻
p/s: still in probation mode so I can't get through a photo link..... sucks somehow
*
already a digi postpaid customer, thinking to merge if possible.. still considering either digi fibre or maxis.

Both are quite good but just go with CelcomDigi. You'll get rebate monthly, 300mbps in just rm100
*
just checked, mine is digi infinite 150 old legacy plan wont get 100, tho still cheaper if combined

*

I didn't go to kiosk but directly deal with whatsapp, after done gave my longitude and latitude, they ghosted me 😠 it's been 5 days now.

May I ask why do you even need an ID? is it for the installation date?
*
you're new sign up or got existing unifi? if existing, the id is for transfer id from unifi to digi.

direct digi WhatsApp you mean? try send them a ticket asking what's the current status, either port full (unifi side , if you're new signup ), or they can't find the address in system

SSoooo I can directly swapped my unifi port to celcomdigi? that's awesome but how am I gonna tell them that? as I already an existing unifi user... so it wont be a hassle to them (i guess)
*
digi is still using unifi port, did you sent your unifi bill to them via wasap? you'll need transfer id, then after that go to tmpoint and said going to switch to digi, with provided id.

They asked me the bill/electricity so I sent that to them, didn't know you can send the unifi bill as well

what about this transfer id? where should I acquired that
*
digi will give you transfer id if process approved, then use that id go to tmpoint and request transfer. just tell digi you've existing unifi, then they will request latest unifi bill.. probably you didnt mention it so they might thought you want to apply new line.

So for the 300Mbps package, the price is actually RM120 if your Digi/Celcom plan is between RM60-RM89, or RM100 if your Digi/Celcom plan is RM90 or above
Any one knows whether you get public IP with it?

Since I am using Digi 60, RM120 is not much different from Unifi's RM129 for 300Mbps. Looking for any extra benefit to entice me over
*
so far only private ip, cgnat

They finally reached out to me!! Unfortunately, but can I do this transfer without dealing with TM Point? It's kinda hassle to go to TM Point from my area

Maybe through maya.unifi or unifi support agent(online)?
*
no, it's compulsory to go to the nearest tmpoint to transfer your id to digi fibre.

if you're just normal user, doesn't have to host private server, or port forwarding...then shouldn't be any problem.

One more thing I curious about is the ability to create a 5gz band and rename ssid on my own which I'm able to do in unifi. Do you think we can do that in CelcomDigi as well?
*
no idea, not using digi fibre and doesn't have their router... try ask them during installations.

might not to maxis, heard maxis kuching support is quite bad... if digi doesn't response with transfer id by this week, might just ask unifi bout swu 2.0 ..

There is also TNB Allo/City Broadband which deploys their own infra
Maxis, U Mobile and some others ride on that as well
*
oh yeah allo, tho i read a lot disconnection issues in their thread.
seems goin to cancel my digi fibre application, not worth the the time waiting like 5 days without any news, even the digi agent also told me no updates from their fibre team.. baru fibre team, they just need transfer id, and plug n play new router..
ini baru part registration dah macam ni, if later got problem entah how long i'm goin to wait it to solve. even tho digi and postpaid combined will become cheaper bit, but then if like this also slow, how la troubleshooting later.

guess im gonna stay tm, heard they do offer swu 2.0 at tmpoint.. no rebate on digi postpaid is ok if like this, rather than kena sidai like this without any updates from them.

probably they can't find your address, login to your unifi account > account, then give them your installation address.. normally address is different from unifi port installation address... just tell them if no replies, just cancel the application lol... mine suddenly settled with id transfer.
