QUOTE(Sam Leong @ Apr 15 2024, 10:46 AM) Hi all, recently my dad signed up the CelcomDigi Postpaid 260 with free fibre Successfully transferred from TM to CelcomDigi (10 times with MCMC report) Then everything is ok until I checked IPV6. There is no IPV6 address provided in their router (Skyworth) and I changed my own router (prev for unifi) and changed VLAN and PPPoE username and password. Internet access up and working but IPV6 is not working (worked on unifi). Technician came today but he say he don’t know also. Asked Digi Fibre CS they say v6 on their end is working and dispatched a technician came which told me he don’t know about this. is your network better than TM?

QUOTE(isr25 @ Jul 26 2024, 08:47 AM) Thank you. Will consider on 24 months again. I had been offered with TM Promo to stay. The public IP is what ultimately caused me to stay with them. Maybe in 2 years I have no further need for public IP or IPv6 is prevalent Public IP is better than private IP?

QUOTE(isr25 @ Jul 27 2024, 05:51 AM) In my use case, yes. CCTV, Seedbox/torrenting, Plexbox etc private ip means fixed ip? public ip means different ip every time modem re-connect?

QUOTE(iXora.ix @ Aug 22 2025, 11:51 AM) if under allo then should be okay as I also under allo. If possible take under CD Digi fiber, CD under celcom fiber has some upstream issue. trust me, you wont regret to select digi than celcom as home fiber Any other way to check if my area were under allo? Planing to subscribe
