I do not have specific details but UOP - One of my colleagues were approached for Sn Engineer post around 2 weeks ago, He gave estimated 30% above his current salary (underpaid) and the recruiter just said seem high huhuh.. Anyway, he won't jump if the offer is small since he just joined another O&G EPCC less than 1.5 years ago

Kent plc is a tier-1 international EPC originated from UK, and as far as I know, Kent JV with Serikandi from Brunei currently bidding for onshore package of Kelidang (onshore gas processing terminal).

Its been years didnt enter petronas onshore plant, i can say, their HSE requirement is truly something else, they wana kill the vendors in the long run? While other installations i.e. MLNG / ABF have their internal system, PCSB insist on vendors to pay for much of the trainings required. Fellas, don't underquote lol

Recently Air Products has been hiring engineers massively from O&G consultant companies. Does anyone have any insight on its salary range and working environment?

Companies consolidation?

Most likely Chevron will put the assets in Malaysia (HESS Msia) for sale.

They have been trying to find a buyer for their Msian assets for some time already but the price they set for their assets were not competitive to the prospects.

Today's new, EM will relinquish operatorship to PCSB and maintain as partner for these platforms. Folks will likely be picked up by PCSB, offer only to be known in 3Q 24 with expectation to complete handover by 4Q.

So it seems that’s the new way forward for EM.

How about EM deep water PSC? They give it up also to Petronas?

Seems like there are many floater projects being thrown about but nothing concrete as of yet. Projects that have been talked about in the past 12 months in this region:

Malaysia:
- Salam-Patawali FPSO
- Kikeh FPSO
- Limbayong-Bestari FPSO

Brunei:
- Kelidang FPSO

Indonesia:
- Abadi FPSO
- Tuna FPSO
- Akia FPSO + FLNG
- Madura FLNG

Thailand:
- Ubon FPSO

Vietnam:
- Nam Du FPSO
- Block B FSO
- Lac De Vang FSO

Anybody knows anything more about any of these projects? Any Malaysian involvement in these projects?
