Recently Air Products has been hiring engineers massively from O&G consultant companies. Does anyone have any insight on its salary range and working environment?

There was a salary trend published by Infographics. From what i have observed, it is quite legit for permanent employees in O&G consulting firms, EPC contractors and petronas. Not applicable to foreign owned operator companies.

heard that some of the O&G professionals who were hired came from Petronas too. their intention is to make KL as the regional engineering hub for their hydrogen business.
had an interview session with AP few weeks ago and was shortlisted for hiring. salary is comparable to major local O&G companies but benefits are so so.

mind sharing if your experience was with local or foreign EPC contractors?
normally contract hires are offered >20% higher than permanent staffs.
my observation is that salary ceiling is becoming lower since 5 - 10 years ago.

yes they did after going through all the necessary procedures of filling up various forms and medical clearance. office is at bangsar south.
3rd batch hiring is probably in progress now.
