Exactly. I was looking forward to changing mine after reading rumors about supporting lossless. Just read again and realized it doesn't support it. OK, it saves my money for upgrading. Ok finally its time to move on from my first gen AirPods Pro. Waited long enough for this, the MagSafe charging appeals to me the most. Can finally not rely on the useless standard Qi-charging that is sometimes inconsistent on my Belkin charger.

Funny thing is, the 2nd Gen can charge from an Apple Watch charger! Subtle change but it’s a welcome bonus.

I upgraded from airpod pro 1 to beats fit pro I think when the beats just released and I love the beats because while retaining all the airpod pro goodness and adding huge improvement over music quality... and beats fit my ears almost perfect

Then you don’t need to change to the new AirPods Pro. Regardless of well the device performs, for wireless buds ear fitting is the most important aspect. Otherwise it’s just a major hassle.

Not sure when is this release …..in malaysia…

Yaya, i am too waiting for it , if based on previous AirPods Pro launch, it will be 1 month after US launch

My current Airpods Pro has that clicking noise already for the right side. Looks like this new ones would be perfect. Currently when travelling on the plane, the current gen can still hear quite a fair bit of noise. I hope with the newer one, it would be quieter.

Just got the AirPods Pro 2.
The noise cancellation is really impressive when compared to the original.
Sound quality is better though imo not the level of the AKG N400 yet.

I just got the AirPods Pro 2 and based on my 20 minutes of listening during transit in the train, walking besides the road and in a quiet room, yes the noise cancellation is more impressive than the 1st gen. For example, I can still hear a little noise from a running air-conditioning on the 1st gen but totally quiet on the 2nd gen. Love the adaptive transparency feature too. The sound is a little better, especially on the bass response where they are tighter and more pronounces. Overall, it is indeed an improvement over the 1st gen.

Just saw the frequency response (by crin) for the APP2.
Similar to what I’ve felt, the performance difference between anc mode and transparency mode is very very minimal. And that’s impressive.

Which iphone are you using?

I'm curious because other than iphone 14 and 14 pro which had Bluetooth 5.3, all previous iphones only have bluetooth 5.0(even the 13 pro). Will it affect the sound quality of the AirPods Pro 2 if used on Bluetooth 5.0 vs 5.3?

I'm using iPhone 14 Pro Max, which is supporting Bluetooth 5.3. I'm not sure if there will be any noticeable differences if paired with a iPhone that only support Bluetooth 5.0 and below. Also, there is no mentioned of Apple enabling or using LE Audio during the AirPods Pro 2022 keynote. Maybe it will be a future feature but as of now, I believe there is no differences.

It depends on how you handle it. Mine was in 95% good condition before I sold it.

So far it has been almost 3 years for me and the issue has just started appearing. Compared to my Sony WF-1000XM3 which died after a year+ of usage.

I have the same issue after 2 years of usage... it's annoying when walking and jogging and I can hear crackling and hissing sound... that when I passed it to my daughter and bought a beat fit pro... no regret

Choose whichever suits you the most. The Airpods have been my best companion especially with my travels (every week in a different ASEAN country). Super useful on the plane and also when taking calls.

I think the one thing that impress me the most about these airpods and also beat fit pro is the microphone among other things.... they can pick up my voice very2 well. This is super useful when having Team meeting. People the other side can hear my voice as if we are talking using the phone instead.

If I pay Rm15 to give me a peace of mind that my case is protected even if I drop it, I rather paying that than having to see crack/damage for the next 2-3 years.

been using the airpods pro 2 for a week now. it's my first time using the noise cancelation feature and i don't feel comfortable using the feature.

yes, the first impression was "wow", but the next few seconds, i feel some pressure going around my ears, it makes me headache.

I recently purchased the Azla tips, XELASTEC.
super nice I like it. Initially it takes a while to put it in place in your ears but once the tips start moulding to your shape then it’s all good. Best of all when I run and sprint, the eartips dont drop off at all. 😃

I saw this but didn't bother to read the review until now. Looks good and worth giving it a try considering the maintenance is rather easy.
