imo easier way to adjust volume, better noise cancellation, better case, slightly better sound, slightly longer battery life (1.5h more)

Just ordered mine; after selling my APP1 last week, I was blessed with some cash this week and managed to score this for only RM 100 out of pocket

What I can say after using it for a bit, compared to APP1:
1. Swipe to control volume is a game changer! Only need one hand, no need for both to control using my watch or take out my phone anymore
2. Listened to some songs streamed with YouTube Music’s HQ audio (256kbps AAC/OPUS). Feels like it sounds better than APP1, and I’m definitely noticing more distinct elements in the sound than before
3. Transparency mode seems great, feels more natural. When some crows cawed outside my house, it sounded exactly like my standard hearing

Will break them in a bit more and see how much improved the battery life is

Ps. Now I’m extra stoked for the new Comply foam tips I ordered to arrive

Downsides: For some reason Siri is having trouble picking up my voice a lot - but I'm not sure whether this is because I'm using non-standard tips or not.

Upsides: battery life is so much better! The 6 hours listening time (I usually listen with ANC and spatial audio off) I get makes it much nicer to use in longer periods like during car rides or before I fall asleep. Have even experienced music still playing when I wake up lol.

Also even though I bought from apple.com/my, it was still technically sold by Apple Singapore, so after talking to Apple Support I managed to sign up for AppleCare+ to get 2 year warranty using my auntie's SG address and bank card

I'd say that's pretty good. When I got my AirPods Pro 1 a few years they came out I managed to get them at 799, so not much difference.

Just make sure it's the newer AirPods Pro 2 revised model that comes with USB-C case and not Lightning

Try chatting with Apple Support. Mention that you just past 60 days but you're still in 1st year warranty. They might generate a custom order and send you a custom payment link

(Something similar happened a year ago when I bought AppleCare+ from Apple Singapore)

Yeah, I just borrowed my auntie's address. I bought from Apple Online Store Malaysia, it didn't have AC+ at that time, but the AirPods still shipped and sold from Apple Singapore. (So that's why they allowed it)

But now even Apple Online Store Malaysia have AC+, so can use Malaysian address no problem.

Apple Care starts from purchase date, not activation date.

If the AppleCare was purchased together with the device, it gets automatically registered and activated

Not available in Malaysia yet, have to wait for Apple to get approval from KKM

Just FYI, y'all might wanna wait till AirPods Pro 3 comes out later this year - it will have extra health features like the heart rate monitoring (already available on the new Powerbeats Pro 2)

It will work like any normal bluetooth headphone with mic. But you lose all the fancy Apple features. Not worth it to use it as your primary earphones on windows

I think the cheap AirPods are probably because the Pros are heavily discounted with any Mac or iPad purchase during back to school season. So RM 300 probably doesn't make sense (considering they still cost RM 200++ when buying a Mac or iPad), but I could see sense if some people are selling them for RM 500
