anybody compare this new airpod pro to beats fit pro yet?

I upgraded from airpod pro 1 to beats fit pro I think when the beats just released and I love the beats because while retaining all the airpod pro goodness and adding huge improvement over music quality... and beats fit my ears almost perfect

by the way, any third party foam ear tips to recommend? first time airpods pro user, don't really like the silicone ear tips stuck deep inside the ear canal

which phone did you tried it on? afaik iphones doesn't support LDAC, xm4s sound way better with it on android phones. I have Ultimate Ears UE900 so yeah of course it sounded better than airpods pro 2 but airpods pro 2 sounded so balanced for me (except slightly more bass) that it's my go to now.

I need to try xm4 or xm5 if i got the chance, I tried their headphone xm4 and xm5 and i can't stand the sound at all, the bass is just too much it's hurting my ears. I tried sennheiser wireless headphones and they sounded really good and balanced, the airpods pro 2, their earpod had around the same sound profile as the sennheiser. my beyer also sounded close but with clinical treble, recessed mids and way less bass.

Has anyone managed to set up their spatial audio? I’m having a difficult time doing it. Any tips?

of course wired. what i meant is even sony xm4 earbuds can support LDAC, very close to lossless already. Even then I tried airpods pro on some audiophile tracks, the bass quality and mid is really good, it just had some rolled off highs and the upper high and high freqs has lesser resolution but still very good, no idea if it was due to the lossy transmission codec.

using pc for beyer, of course iphone cannot drive it properly without dacamp

still sound is sound, airpods pro 2's weakness for me is only the high-midrange and highs, for the bass and mids, it's actually as good as high quality wired headphones. For the bass it can show the plucking details on acoustic bass, and for the mids it can separate different background different vocals well enough, some cheaper audiophile headphones can't even do that.

it's not as good as wired hifi headphones and earphones, but it is already pretty good enough for normie musics. I'm not those who chose to listen to audiophile albums to enjoy the better equipment's sound, I prefer pop, rock and metal and those usually doesn't even have good studio recording and mixing quality to take advantage on real audiophile stuffs anyways

and that's the sound for me when using "off" profile on the noise settings

i forgot to tell you my beyer is one of the bass light ones and very bright. For me even normal sone xm4 and xm5 headphone's bass is too much. Airpods Pro 2 bass has good quality and details, very clear when you listen to acoustic bass not those electronic ones, and yeah it's strong too, if the amount is more than this i wouldn't like to listen as much anymore, because what i care is quality not the quantity.

Weird for you to mention it doesn't have much details but when i tried on some audiophile tracks i can listen to every background noises on it just fine, even some songs like on vienna teng's "nothing without you", alot headphones that doesn't have good treble detail can't even distinguish the background 2 different cymbal sounds but the airpods pro 2 can, on a lossy bluetooth codec.

Background vocal separation on audiophile recorded track also is pretty easy on airpods pro 2, don't say about the bass too, it's strongest point, even head-fi audiophiles agree airpods pro 2's strongest audio feature is it's bass quality. I don't know how much bass you liked this to be but for me it sounded fine, the amount and tonality is what i expected, since i myself plays acoustic drum before too, so i hated earphones or headphones that can't do kick drums, snare, toms, and cymbal's sound well.

lastly it is the instrument separation which is actually really good on airpods pro 2 too. it actually shows the sound of each instrument quite nicely that some of my more expensive wired gear wouldn't be able to and make the sound more flat. I don't really care about depth that much despite that airpods pro 2 have some level of depth but not much.

for the me the only weakness is the highs, they just sounded "lossy" and lacked much detail, it sounded like digital artifacts or if you play pc games like have aliasing, wheres my beyer would play the same highs very clear. To be fair even my ue900 aren't able to play highs super clear too, and that's running on balance armature that should be great in highs.

all of this tested via iphone and lossless apple music tracks (let the phone transcode the bluetooth codec)

i haven't tried on android yet but i do noticed it sounded significantly worse when connected to windows 10.

bro you speak like i can't differentiate aac 256kbps vs lossless, i do, i can hear the difference just from using my ue900 alone for thr aac vs lossless. But the fact still remains that by pairing the airpods pro 2 with iphone, even the 256kbps aac sounded pretty farn good and close to being true hifi

i have this issue too, case battery drain non stop.

reset everything included find my but the same still  battery draining.

I was able to solve this issue, I have disconnected (forget my device) my AirPods and connected to another iOS device and reconnected to my iPhone. so far so good, no more connection issue. give it a try
