About 12sec, for 16feet folding gate. I don't know if this speed/timing is ok or not. Too fast? Too slow? Or normal?

Mine originally was about 13 sec for swing gate, last week the board fry by lighting, change to another board and adjust it to faster. Now is about 10sec. 12 sec should be normal.

Just to upadate, I too had my DCmoto swing installed by Winson yesterday morning. Took ard 2hrs. Winson workmanship very good. His macai even water-level the control box to make sure it is perfectly straight and Winson level the motor arm attached to the gate. Finally, didn;t install the black rubber to hold the gate, not necessary. You can install everything first, test it and if you want you can install the rubber after testing. All in all satisfied.

But the movement to not perfectly smooth, maybe all auto swing gates are like that. First time using automate.

Hi all forumers,

I am impressed by all the knowledge contained in this thread on the topic, especially from jimmylim85.

This is very useful when I am in the market for an autogate.

I need a 17 feet wide, 6 feet high, fully aluminium folding gate. Design is simple square, horizontal bars. With my research (I've been to all those reno/furniture fairs), I am down to 2 companies which provide a complete package i.e. full aluminium gate, motor, installation all-in type. The 2 companies are C.S.A. and Wei Wang. The prices and features quoted to me was:

CSA- For 17 ft by 6 ft, folding gate, DCMotor 925, all in price was RM6300 (Usual price is RM7500, now got promo)
Wei Wang - For 17 ft by 6 ft, folding gate, DCMotor 925, all in price was RM7500 (Usual price is RM9000, now got promo)

Both companies used exactly the same motor DCMotor 925, so no comparison (by the way I am convinced with DCmotor anyway). So the difference is in the gate itself. To be fair Wei Wang's gate is alot better interms of workmanship, meaning the soldering joints are seamless, bracket all are seamless with gate, in terms of overall built quality, its better. CSA's gate is abit rough and you can see the brackets, nuts etc.

I was told by these 2 companies, they are the only one doing a fully-aluminium gate.

My question is, are the prices reasonable, even for CSA gate which will cost RM6300? Got cheaper alternatives out there (I still want fully aluminium)?

Frankly, I always thought stainless steel must be silver color (am I correct?). And presumably, stainless steel would be heavier?
