They claimed is from italy , much superior brand than facc

is my house sliding gate 24 feet length

thanks for the reply

Try to get from other quotes. Which I mean direct from autogate installer not from your contractor. 24 feet length needs the range of industrial specification motor. I strongly recommend FAAC cause is the only superior brand from Italy.

What we need request when wiring contractor start cabling autogate wire? My house are red brick just can see side by side gate have PVC there. Have check with developer just say already standby for autogate but I can't see have wire to fuis box there.

DCMoto 925W Hybird got no problem pushing 22feet gate, if you scroll back a few pages, you can see I've install on a gate 23' length and 8' high. No sweat. And it's been operating close to a year now.
It require the same amount of wire as in arm type too.

Standard requirement.

From house to your front gate side control panel = 7 core armored cable 1.5mm or 2.5mm with Magnetic Circuit Breaker 10Amp. Do not use 16A or 20A or 32A as you going to damage the system when over current doesn't break the circuit.

Each motor on each side requires 2 core armored cable 1.5mm or 2.5mm back to the control panel.

Option is to run pillar light cable require 2 core armored cable 1.5mm or 2.5mm back to the control panel.

Door bell push button require 2 core armored cable 1.5mm to the control panel.

Usually this wiring will be done by qualified electrician and autogate installer.

Ask him what brand it is, then u know for sure. People can claim this or that, so better to clarify.

Over-current occur when there is cable leakage in which draws more current.

Your swing fold gate, power consumption doesn't goes anything above 200W usage on load. So why do you need 16A or 20A circuit breaker?

If you have enough opening I don't see any cons. Open speed is the same.

Ok, Winson came to fix my autogate today, had good experience with him. All done in ~2hrs. The DCmoto looks really nice and very silent when in operation. He explain how the DCmoto works in detail. So, yeah.. I would recommend Winson. thumbup.gif

Yes included. They provide a few spare keys to bypass the motor.
