Guys, need some advise. I'm planning to install DCmoto for my swing gates (not folding gates). I was informed that DCmoto does not come with the stopper (black rubber at the middle to stop/hold both gates when in closed position). The black rubber stopper/lock is common with old design autogate. So how does DCMoto hold the gates in place (so the gates would not wobble) with out this stopper? Is this a concern? Any current DCmoto user can advise?
Thanks.

i too am waiting to see what others reply on this.. without the centre black rubber i feel people may be able to pull our gate open easily

For me not so much for security, any autogate can be forced open with force unless you get those with locking mechanism (old underground type) newer design dun think has it anymore, as far as I know I could be wrong. I just don want the gates to wobble (when windy) at the closed position, look funny la.

Mr Jimmy did reply me on my question, he said not necessary coz DC Moto has internal gear locking mechanism. (Thanks Mr Jimmy for yr advise)

My installer did mention DC moto will wobble a bit coz the gear locking mechanism has free-play and nothing to hold it in the middle so he recommend me to install the rubber stopper and weld 2 metal plate to tahan the gate, make sense but not sure effective or not.

That's y need current user to advise if they face any wobble without the rubber. icon_question.gif

Just to upadate, I too had my DCmoto swing installed by Winson yesterday morning. Took ard 2hrs. Winson workmanship very good. His macai even water-level the control box to make sure it is perfectly straight and Winson level the motor arm attached to the gate. Finally, didn;t install the black rubber to hold the gate, not necessary. You can install everything first, test it and if you want you can install the rubber after testing. All in all satisfied.

But the movement to not perfectly smooth, maybe all auto swing gates are like that. First time using automate.

i'm not sure about other motors/brand ( not arm type )

i'm using dcmoto for slide, the motor movement's noise is like wht u said not smooth..
in canto ' chok-ha chok-ha' liddat  biggrin.gif  when it is slowing down...
but u don't see ur gate movement ' chok-ha chok-ha' , it is the internal gears i think...
or they kenot program it to go fast n slow smoothly like a stepper motor??....

Yr sliding also chok-ha chok-ha meh? Sliding normally very smooth one...

Any sifu here can advise any remedy to smoothen the swing movement? Mr. Lim? rclxms.gif

Ok I choose this company to replace my old autogate moto. But here the problem, after paying around RM1300 for the moto n installation,

He NEVER GIVE ME A SINGLE RECEIPT YET.

Is this how this company works?

Call him no answer, call company tel number auto close.

What did you install for RM1300?

Hello, hope sifus here can help me with my DCmoto 925W (without IR sensor). Been using it for 1.5 years now, the problem I just had was,

I can open the gates as usual, but when I try to close it by clicking the open/close button it would not close but make 4 beeps. Read the manual and the 4 beeps is an error beeps for IR sensor error BUT I dun have IR sensor installed. Reading more, I found out that by pressing the top+right buttons simultaneously it will override the IR sensor error and it worked, the gates can close. So i try again, open no problem, close cannot (4 beeps), press top+right together then only can close. Tested few times, same problem.

Hope my explanation above make sense. Appreciate it if any sifu here can give me some advice or pointers for me to troubleshoot to find out the cause of the problem.

Thanks in advance.

Hi dblcss, thank you for your advise. Just curious, I've been using it for more than a year without such problem. You mean the jumper will somehow "switch" to ON accidentally by itself?? shocking.gif
