I saw sb.'s iguana cage today in MF and very immensely inspired..i think such DIY cage still looming large in my mind..
Wheww.. so hard to knock it off! I'm contemplating to pick up welding skill ..with my mech. background. When successfully mastering the skill, i will DIY a new home for my suggie.. Next few weeks when i'm free, i will put that visualisation in my mind down in Cadworx.. And hopefully will share some interesting graphics.. Much much later on... hope to help others build square hollow section steel and wire mesh cage according to whatever custom measurements.. cute suggie emino, congrats !
i wanna ask something here, how do we know whether a suggie is healthy or not? since suggie is good in hiding their actual condition, what are the things that we need to look at to assume that the suggie is healthy..? this would help a lot for suggie wannabees when buying joey. i know that best is to buy it from KP but what if they cant get it from you? any pointers? |

Clear bright eyes, clean pink nose, well-maintained fur, rounded body, fluffy tail that's a little like a bottle brush, alert and active.
Look at the environment it's kept in, the food it's fed and what handling routine they get from their owners. |

Well, after its 10 and he still hasnt wakes up, I woke him up to feed him.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() As you can see, he completely ignores the mealworm ![]() ![]() At least he now not easily startled by me... Even climb up to my shoulder and sniffing (and licking, apparently) my hair multiple times Maybe he likes my shampoo~ LOL |

Well, the shop here sells the big sized and small sized ones. I just get the big ones since my gerbils loved them too.

QUOTE(emino @ Feb 2 2008, 10:42 AM) lol. kejam. haha. Well, just joking in that sense well, seing how he likes to sembunyi in the pouch in stead of exploring for the time being, maybe it'll be a while for me to change the cage Suggie like to sembunyi in the pouch MOST of the time.. except in the late evening and at night. If you have 2 suggies, expect some noisy hullabalooo.. at times..during mid night.. You can train them to wake up early (in the late evening) as you consistently wake them up at that hour daily for meal.. They are smart and will acclimatize and attune to your scedule..as far as mine is concern.. So when evening arises, they will automatically look for you. Added on February 2, 2008, 11:16 amEmino, you have Teddy, gerbils, what else you have huh? How many gerbil is that.. Honestly, i don't know even how a gerbil looks like.. The fruit that you give to Teddy is a honey dew right? You can chop them to fine pieces and mix it with some fine carrots, peas.. a little bit wheatgerm etc It's pretty interesting though cuz the interesting part is that keeping glider is not just keeping, but MAKING... things like that la.. and remember to share that with us..ya?
