how do you identify if the 88gts is an a2 or a3 revision when buying...?

You won't know until you get the item and find it out using Rivatuner. Most new one is A3 but not necessary true. You might get old stock as well.

so which version better? or all the same?

I'm not too sure. A3 seems to be a better overclocker I guess. cstkl1 should know better.

my gts can only reach 621/1566/1900... anything higher than that will cause artifacts in ati tool.. damn my 8800gts

You should feel lucky. My shader clocks can't even pass 1450.

shader score and oc on gc so low.. embarrassment for spending RM250 on the HR03 plus and a decent fan...kekeke... LOLZ...

might as well use stock cooler and run the old riva tuner 2.03 then his itchy hand wouldnt have touch the shader clocks and actually down clocked the ratio....LOLZ...

score would have been way higher LOLZ...

if VT-Ten would have put a Quad proc in his benchies and ran at 3.6ghz would have beaten this LOLZ.

2 x XFX 8800gts price 2100 stocking cooling

Beating ianho benchmark with huge ass coolers and a downclocked gtx that cost by atleast RM3500 more... PRICELESS.

Hmmm.... that's low for the shader core.....but I guess the core/mem is not much different from mine....

However, for my GC, I've only tested stability for 2 hours only, need to retest it for longer periods next time. Now lazy as still running at stock while gaming...
