Hmm, I'm using 163.69 now but shader clock adjuster is not shown. Maybe it's time to format. My windows is full with 965-S, 680i and P35 drivers. dry.gif

You have to set the NVAPIUsageBehaviour to 1 in power user setting, the first option Rivatuner>system. It is stated in the link you've provided above. smile.gif

Ok, tested for almost 2 hours with ATItool. No artifacts but core temp shot up to 83'c.... sweat.gif Hot day today.....

Going to test with games later on....

Max I could get for my card is 648/1620/972mhz...... Not as high as some forumers card.... smile.gif

Shader clock at 1674 mhz will cause artifacts.......

Edit : Hmmmm.... anybody tried underclocking the shader clock? Wonder how low it can go..... hmm.gif

Wow! I just read about sum rumors regarding the latest news on SLI. Intel may get Quad SLI on the Skulltrail mobos. 8 Lanes PCIe for each slot. Upcoming n780i may haf 3 lanes for triple SLI with 16x, 8x, 8x lanes. Now just imagine a rig with Quad CPU n Quad 8800. OMFGBBQSAUCE!

I first read about it here : http://www.xbitlabs.com/news/chipsets/disp...0919234702.html

Quote : The new platform for no compromise gamers will let end-users without limits of budget to obtain eight processing engines as well as four graphics processing units for ultimate performance. Still, Intel will have to ensure that ATI, graphics product group of Advanced Micro Devices, and Nvidia Corp. enable driver support for 4-way CrossFire or SLI multi-GPU configurations.

Actually went to sleep while running the ATItool. Hot room without air-con at noon. Woke up almost wanna pengsan to see the temperature....

Temperature for gaming usually around 65-75'c depending on ambient temperature.... wink.gif

Well, I dunno man. Will hafta c how. 8 core cpu n 4 top of the line gfx cards are gonna be a huge pain in terms of $$ so..................... will c how the performance is when they appear. I'm not gonna jump into it unless the performance is really great. No point getting it if it's oni sumthin like 10% faster than a quad core CPU, 2 gfx card rig. For all that moolah, 8 cores n 4gfx better provide at least 50% jump in performance. sweat.gif

Added on September 29, 2007, 4:51 pmWawaweeeeeeeeeeee. NAISsssssssssssssssss! I found the pic. Dunno if it's really real though. They say n680i mobos can do it too n the 8800Ultra n 8800GTX will be the 1st candidates for 3 way SLI.

Aaa.... you wanted to see the revision oso aaa? Mine is still revision A2 (brand is ASUS)

My GPU core will idle at around 58-60'c as I underclock it to 300/400mhz when idle. Thinking of underclocking the shader speed also.... smile.gif

which one u prefer?

high scores in benchmark or high fps in games?

personal opinion :

ati perform better in benchmark while in-game nvidia outperform ati (especially when AA turned on)
*
for me i'll search the card that how low it fps can be...
im not going for higher fps,but better get the card that how high its minimum fps..
i'll try 7800gtx vs x1950pro both 256mb
if u see the sintetic benchmark,x1950pro win over 7800gtx,
but in real gaming,i give a credit to 7800gtx!coz the minimum fps is higher than x1950 pro!
even x1950pro got slightly high max fps rather than 7800gtx..7800gtx is tougher than x1950pro flex.gif
