But I hold the same opinion, it should've been either demolished long time ago for a TOD condo or converted into office. Not sure why they keep trying to revive it. It's use was unproductive for a very long time.

Its not enough to compete as a mall (because who would come here when Sunway Velo, EkoCheras and Leisure Mall is so near) but it is very valuable as a TOD project.

The entire layout of Cheras Sentral is filled with weird and tight road turns and terrible traffic flow. when they turn it into cheras central, they cut the original phoenix plaza into 2

1 cheras sentral 1 hotel

thats why u see there are big pillar in front of shoplot

this is bad fengshui as the pillar already covered the shoplot, patrons wont able to see the shoplot

dont get me started with the basement floor, totally no telco connectivity at all, it's alike u enter another world

basement supermarket floor is pathetic, how many supermarket DEAD here?

-SKM Mart

RETAIL THAT HAS BEEN PULLOUT (BASED ON MY MEMORIES):

-G2000
-MPH bookstore
-Cotton on
-Uniqlo
-Starbucks
- Kenny Rogers
etc

suprisingly parking is doing well,

coz the management rent to used car seller Cassa auto


the entrance and exit to the mall one big problem



conclusion, better demolish once and for all and rebuild instead of endless reviving
