SALES & services TAX.

Kalau servis sahaja yang dikenakan cukai, apa ke jadah ayam kepci dan letrik pun kena cukai?

duh. u know i know everyone know have u try to buy add on equipment before from tm? UPB MEsh wifi etc? i have been telling TM this common sense term that everyone aware but not tm, they still charge 6% on top of those addon.

until recently effect dec'21 i think the sst is no longer applicable to those add on. then i contact them to adjust those sst that are previously charged they agreed to reflect in my next bill.

so anyone out there who kena this as well, u can claim back ur money.

QUOTE(Lescotesco @ Mar 15 2021, 11:19 PM)
what did they put at the description of the charges for ur m4?

the sst can be avoided if they itemized it correctly.

My package is exactly same as urs, RM159 for 800 mbps + ultimate package. so i guess it will be the same for me.

when i get my first bill i will try to complain to mcmc for charging me sst of the m9 purchase. even if it is little but at least there is something. lol

I question that in some unifi group in facebook years ago and I got kicked out from the group despite saying the truth that equipment should not be charged for SST. Some of them give me answer saying is like Aeon credit, bayar bulan bulan so got SST. All ingat pandai tapi kena tipu long long.

Most of the members who have been kicked out are from those who dare to speak out about TM's services.
The admins (Hati tisu) in the group are TM staff, and they will kick out anyone who speaks negative about the TM service, including routing issues.

How come no publisher pickup this issue? Is this issue being reported?
How about other ISP like Maxis and TIME? Do they charge SST for the equipment?

I just figured out a way to temporary mitigate the problem, Keep refresh about 5-10 time might get Singapore twitch node.
And if suddenly buffering again mean the node had changed to another country node, just refresh a few time again to get SG node again. (can watch smoothly for a period of time)
Or second way is directly open a vpn.

Quite disappointing considering that other ISPs have moved onto wifi alliance easy mesh routers that you can mix brands with.

Unrelated, I took a look at the FCC listings for the FibreHome router

There looks to be a serial port inside, see pins labeled TX, RX, GND
