there is a new speedtest.net server Telekom Malaysia Berhad - Melaka (id = 45088) 58.27.108.234 that has only 3ms+ ping, while unifi basically has around 6ms at least to most if not all server.

With the addition of Melaka speedtest server, TM currently have 4 speedtest.net servers as below:

Kuala Lumpur: speedtest.tm.com.my 58.26.239.30
Batu: speedtest-bat.tm.com.my 210.187.84.114
Penampang, Sabah: speedtest-sabah.tm.com.my 218.208.44.10
Melaka: speedtest-southern.tm.com.my 58.27.108.234

There is possible that TM will setup more speedtest.net location including northern region and sarawak (according to the PTR record)

can recommend any budget router that support printer server via usb?
the given TP-link AC1200 EC221-G3v only support USB mass storage but not printer

Look into Asus routers. They have this function.

Got a call from TM offering RM159 for 300mbps + Deco M4 foc. Cant help but took the offer.

I took the offer too, last week.

Try to ask for lower price minus the Deco M4, but can't. I already use Deco X20. No need another Deco / Mesh.

Yeah. Tried to counter offer. Minus deco M4 n unifiTV. But cannot. They said its all in one package. Cannot minus anything.

Called TM Careline, they tried to refresh my port 3 times but still unable receive Public IP. Unable to use VPN.

Bad experience. i just subscribed to Unifi.

Hello guys, today I logged into my car Spotify.

Car is connected to home wifi.

I got email saying my Spotify logged in to someone in South Korea lol

Is this normal behaviour? I don’t understand how this all works, maybe it’s taking up an IP address somewhere along the route ?

Do I need to contact TM or Spotify? Because my Spotify was hacked recently by some guy in Russia, but now I dunno if that email was real too ahhaha

Many subscribers had been moved to private ip. What I heard, for those with 100mbps and below will all be moved t private ip. Careline cannot do much. Directive from higher up.

Yap that’s what I though too, when I google what’s my ip it shows a proper 175.x address

Why UnifiTV almost any video looks jaggy?
Even video stream using youtube and other apps looks horrendous.

Any STB preferences that i need to tweak?
TV supports 1080i.

Can we use ipv6 if got private ip?

yes of cos you can use ipv6. but for sure ip6 routing and latency is worst then ipv4

unless you go for local content
