*
U get 2 units and use 1

Sell the other unit XD

the following are the options offered for 300mbps plans.

RM 159 - 300Mbps (FREE MESH M4, *Voice STD20)
RM 169 - 300Mbps (FREE MESH M4, *Voice STD20, UnifiPlayTV [ANEKA/VARNAM/RUBY])

RM169 is offered for those who want to keep their existing UnifiPlayTV plan

*while for voice plans (STD20) it depends on your current internet plan.

You can try calling 100 and ask them about the Unifi Loyalty 500mbps plan, they will give you 2 options (with or without UnifiPlayTV)

A hardware failure on the HG8240H is more likely.

Try to get them to replace your fibre modem.
*
Update:

Replaced it and seems to be better but still there but not as frequent. At least better now but I think my AC1750 DIR-867 router seems to be getting worned out or buggy firmware. I tried flashing old firmware but seems to be buggy now so not useful if there is the VOIP box connected and I suppose to change to the recent AX wifi routers in the market. AX1500 is decent enough i suppose or go for the AX1800? Looking at Asus models since I like the AiMesh option to expand wireless coverage.

Unifi was down since 11pm yesterday...called just now. Thought it was my modem issue (optical is red)...but CS mentioned my area has issues as well.

My unifi is back around 5:47pm based off of my router's log.

Existing users can fill out this form Unifi Loyalty, and they will call you within 5 working days.

The second way is to make a call via100 and select the fourth option regarding products and promotions
and yes, it is offered to all existing Unifi users. While this promotion is still available

I would’ve picked maxis 300mbps also but because of the whole issue with reserved port etc, and who knows when port get released since db just installed
*
Ya I upgraded from streamyx, from what I heard from installer when they came to install at my place, there is only 1 port left, the rest already reserved for streamyx users.
Thats why I straight away upgrade, scared later port full and they don't want to add another dp since its just a small kampung. Going from 4mbps to 100mbps damn nice already lol.

hey guys, I've been on unifi DSL for like years now because I like having the router in my room since im the main user. But now considering to upgrade to fibre but then router will be outside, trying to figure out what's the most stable way to get a wired connection to my room.

Drilling is a no-no. So no way of routing cables through the walls. So im left with getting another router to use as an extender cum AP, or to try a powerline ethernet adapter. Any advice?

Priorities are stability over speed.
