My friend managed to contact Sony Customer Service Live chat ,he gave the guy his order number.
The sony people ask him to hold on a sec and then after 5 min the Sony guy replied back to him that his order# is confirmed.


Then email him a satisfaction survey form to fill in. Guess he is safe from pre-order?

By the way he said he received the confirmation email from Ipay88 and Sony email at 12.03am both at the same time.

It doesn't quite jive. Some people getting confirmation as early as 12:00 and the order is cancelled, but there are also people getting it at 12:03 and getting it confirmed? So confusing. Hahah.

So now we have 12:03 payment that is confirmed.
And a 12:00:5 payment that has been cancelled.

This 'software glitch' seems to be quite random. Almost as if its not first come first serve.

I got it from them too.. and so far no call/msg/sms... but I also afraid of their efficiency in handling such matters.. I buy other stuff from them occasionally and they aren't really that competent in general haha.

Does it still say processing on the website? (But I guess this is normal since the next in the flow is Shipping)

THe other day gave me a fright. I created the account for the first time and was trying to add my PlusOne account to it. Had some issues so was contacting their support (took 3 days to fix this issue btw)..

One of those days while checking my account page, on the account dashboard the Order History was empty!

Wah I was thinking damn did they cancel my order? but turns out the dashboard try to fetch the order history time out.. but click on order history itself can still see my order haha. Then an hour later back to normal.

Hoping for tomorrow then. Better they call all their customers and let them know whether they got it or not. If got it ok let us know when. If didn’t ok pls refund us back our money. I set my mind for cancellation or 2nd batch dy haha

But if tomorrow still haven’t call. Aiyah that dreaded 11/12-11/1 is a very long time to wait

Actually never buy from them before. Anyone else bought from senq other stuff? What is the procedure? Do they need to call to confirm or can we assume that the order went through?

Only retail.

As for online. Some say their iphone 12 preorder went smoothly, some even got their units early.

But that is iphone la, the PS5 hype is a different story blush.gif
