He said unless got any surprise or notification from Sony then they will let know.

If everything ok then the date will follow ETA 11th Dec 2020.

My friend managed to contact Sony Customer Service Live chat ,he gave the guy his order number.
The sony people ask him to hold on a sec and then after 5 min the Sony guy replied back to him that his order# is confirmed.


Then email him a satisfaction survey form to fill in. Guess he is safe from pre-order?

By the way he said he received the confirmation email from Ipay88 and Sony email at 12.03am both at the same time.

Checked with local HN sales person last week (2 days after pre-order),if you are the one who managed to pre-order the PS5 from HN, the tentative ETA will be still 11th Dec 2020 if there is no unforeseen surprise by Sony or last minute notification from Sony

If there is anything, they will inform the customer.Else will stick to ETA 11 Dec 2020.This is what they said.

As for my friend that he live chat with Sony person in charge,For Sony online official store,the shipment will start by Mid Dec 2020, which is about the close to Malaysia launch date.

Hope all the info they give is correct

Not sure how is the condition now Singapore? Is Sony online delivery able to deliver all their console on time?Any retailer still no news or any retailer told their customer no stock

Uusally I buy item from Qishan got some small amount shipping fees like RM8 -RM12,but this time the order the shipping fee is free.

Qishan already stated in thier Website there is no taxes to Malaysia so no worry.Just pay accoding to the amount to secure your order.

At least Malaysia got its own launch date 11th Dec 2020 , Indonesia is next year which is even longer but still ok because at least got date. Vietnam and Thailand don't even have any single news not to mention India too.
Imagine today Indo,Thai,Viet all have news just left Malaysia.......

I can imagine the feeling of those vietnam and thailand people now, because we used to have that feeling too months after Singapore announcement.

Do you guys plan straight unboxing there and straight away check for functionality using their TV ? Do they allow?
And then if something wrong, immediately push/pressure them for 1-1 exchange? Or they will just said ask you to go back then collect a new one at later date?

I create a count down timer haha, I put 10am as reference because average those shops will be open and those courier most likely will start out for delivery that day that time.

How about like those Iphone usually? Do they unbox there and if something wrong, will Harvey Norman or switch straight away exchange for them on collection day ?
By the way, ya .PS5 is different from other products so it is actually different, cannot compare to other electronics products.

Its ok, when that day comes, then will ask there and then will know the outcome.
