Register online for the angpow but seems like no response from Whatsapp. Digi CS still sucks...

Hey bro. Did you manage to get it installed? I think they're up to something funny with their angpow deal. Even if you sign up during the campaign period but because installation must be carried out before 31st March, even if it's their fault that the installation can't be done before that, you're still not entitle to get the angpow deal. lol.

I register my interest on the 13th Feb thru fb with an agent without knowing the angpow deal. Got confirmation from fibre team that my area is in serviceable area, then went thru all the hassle to port few of my mobile phone numbers to digi postpaid to get RM100 - 300mbps deal. On 22nd scheduled installation for 25th Feb. After that I found out that there's ongoing angpow deal, so I went thru all the hassle again to cancel my initial sign up, since it's not eligible for angpow deal if sign up with agent.

Made my new application online again 1 mins after they confirm they cancel my first sign up. Then they come back to me and say no port. Then I okay loh, maybe bad luck.

But I don't really believe that, since my whole neighborhood is pretty low dense, so I went to check with unifi agent for available port. Apparently port for unit is not available, but got port for unit opposite of my house. My building only 13 floor, each floor 4 units. And opposite unit 4 steps away from mine. How come their unit got available port and mine don't?

Can some sifu enlighten me if that's the way how ports work? Or is Digi probably up to something or their system still booked my port from my first sign up. Can I report this to MCMC? lol.

Super pissed off now. I port my numbers to digi, now no fibre to use, if want port back out to maxis then I need to pay penalty for porting out during cooling period, together with some tax chargeable for porting over to another telco. All this for nothing. lol. and their helpline cs, livechat, email all quite bs, can't provide firm answer and solution. Plus can't contact their fibre team directly and ask.

Should have tried applying to fibre first if successfully install the fibre then only you port your numbers after your fibre installation, the most you rugi 1 month only, next month they readjust your bill with the promo bonus rate.

Your building sounds like got several infra. Check if Time also available besides TM?

Sadly no bro. Haih. Ipoh small town. Currently only unifi, maxis and digi. I would have taken time long ago if Time is available here. Now I'm trying to check on digi if the unit opposite of mine got port. If they do I'll file complain to mcmc and see if they can start an investigation. I honestly suspect they internal system with tm is damn shit or they purposely do that do keep me out of the angpow deal.

No response at all... how to install? Besides I need to get transfer id and pass to maxis to release port. Nvm... maybe will choose Celcom or Unifi.

Their WhatsApp automated one. Only when they need details from you then only do manual takeover if you're lucky. If not close file straight. I find it damn bs. There's no way to contact the fibre team directly. Their helpline, livechat and email told me the same.

I think what happen is that your unit did not appear in their system. Actually what they can do is to request TM to add your unit, but apparently they are too lazy to do that.

It did I think. Cause first application we already had scheduled for installation, but after cancellation and reapply, it says that my place port with my unit number has reach the maximum. 🤦🤦

If that's the case, I think it will take like 1 month cooling period before you can reapply. Your previous application still in the system therefore cannot register new application. Just like if you terminate Maxis or Unifi there is a month cooling period before you can apply back.

Thanks my man. But even if I apply for digi, cancel before installation then reaaply also got cooling period? Since its from the same service provider.

Coz anyhow Digi also "locked" ur port with TM, so its more to TM system locked ur unit's port, not ISP/Digi issue.... So even u cancel, TM side also need cooling period to reopen it.

But couldn't digi do something to get TM to reopen the same port since its the same applicant (me) applying for the same house?

And the fibre team had never inform me regarding to that.
