Recently my Huawei BTU TEL1 keep blinking, anyone know what cause it blinking? Before it was not blinking at all, by the way I'm using DiGi Fibre service on TM infra.

Blinking means there is an incoming call, consider plugging in a phone?
Could also be attempting to connect to the network

If Streamyx being asked to migrate to Unifi with special promo at 69 30mbps perpetual, should I go for it or jump to Digi? As long the area has Unifi Fiber, Digi shall able to install right?

I would suggest you go for Unifi RM69, use it until end of contract then you decide whether to stay on or change to other provider. Reason being that newly installed ports are given to Streamyx and Unifi users first. Balance will be given to other provider. Hence if you do not want to risk having no port, best is to be among the earliest to grab it from Unifi.

Actually not a big deal if you're those normal users who do mostly web surfing/downloading/streaming.

CCTV can use those cloud based accounts.
Public IP can be obtained by using VPNs/VPS.

Actually if you're not IT savvy type, private IP helps to protect you from hackers which can't gain direct access to your home network because it shares a single gateway IP with few users. The hacker cannot directly connect to you and hence initiate remote monitoring/access to your PC.

Got pros and cons.

Currently facing some website are blocked by MCMC, not sure why

Im having same issues, some website/apps cant connect..
If use mobile data can connect..

I tried contact digi, they check all no issues

yes, i called CS digi, they try said some of website can't access, they have make report to MCMC, waiting responds

Looks like all connection go through their proxy. They can easily control which site to block and even see what you are viewing.

Having no public IP is definitely a no-no for me. Thanks to users who commented on them not giving public IP.

change DNS can be fixed, but not all of people know how to fix it so... hhaha

Can anybody confirm that all Digi packages are using private IP? The latest promo seems to be quite interesting, RM140 for 500Mbps with user who're on Digi postpaid 90.

In this case, it doesn't matter using public ip or private ip in this case. What i understand, MCMC always instruct operators to block certain website (such as gambling sites, etc). I have mobile and fiber internet (public and private IPs) from major operators at 2 different homes. It seems some sites are accessible only via maxis DNS, but not on umobile DNS, digi DNS, unifi DNS and Celcom DNS. Of course i have no issue accessing those sites using external DNS such as cloudflare and google.

completely agree. they have screw up my package and overcharge but refused to rebate but continue to ask user to overpaid saying there's nothing they can do and just end the chat very rudely. wondering if there's a way to complain Digi. this is really bad like outright robbery. never had that bad experience with other telco before. to those who tempted on the price of Digi promo beware. it's a scam.

thanks wondering has anyone actually lodge a complaint. the amount is not much but i feel is still wrong insist customer to pay for their mistakes and refused to rectify the problems. actually just deducting the overcharged rm40 will resolve the issue but they refused to and proceed to say there's nothing they can do and just terminate the chat rudely. although the amount isnt big is still wrong to ask customer to continue overpay and said nothing they can do.
