Why not straight to TIME? The best ISP when it comes to value and speed.

because I'm digi postpaid customer and just want to try something new

What are the disadvantages of a private IP address?
*
you cant do port forwarding, host your own server/pi/etc

live stream your IP cam unless using the cloud-based service

from time to time easily got captcha from Cloudflare lol

TM or Digi installer? Actually the router belongs to you, so the installer is not suppose to take it. Only the BTU belongs to TM so they can take it and replace with new one.
How is your speed so far?
*
Digi installer.

I guess they want to make money lol

luckily I took back my ax50 and give them the tm router. will make complaint to digi cs

speed so far is promising.

I went to TM last Wednesday to tell them about my termination. I am still waiting for Digi to contact me about installation. How long does it take for them to install?
*
TM transfer request took around 5days.

After that Digi CS will call to schedule installation.

The installation will be done in less than 30min

When I went to inform TM about my transfer, they made me pay for another month and to show them the proof of payment on the spot. They said it will be pro-rated and the balance will be refunded to me in 2-3 months time. Is this standard practice?
*
I guess yes, but mine no need to pay another month since I got auto-debit enabled.

Received notification and phone call from Digi for installation this Saturday. BTW I heard from a friend that Maxis offers backup SIM card in their modem in case of fibre service interruptions. Is this true and does Digi give this service?
*
Digi router has the slot but not sure when digi gonna offer this service

subscribe separately for now(?) rather than incur penalty.
*
normally TIME can cover the penalty which needs you to pay first then they will deduct it from your monthly bill.

for unifi / maxis need to find agents that have this kind of promo.

I'm having an issue to update ios with Zyxel EX3300-T0 router.

apple blocked my update. The error I got as below

"This update requires a Wi-Fi network connection to download"

but if I enabled the guest wifi and connected to it, I'm able to update the ios.

anyone having the same problem?

Yes I am having the same issue. Stupid router problem, but when I configure my old Unifi router with Digi credential, I can update iOS. Thanks for the tips to enable guest wifi.
Which one you choose depends on your area infra. If you are using TM infra, then ethwan TM. If using Digi, ethwan Digi.
I am still new to Digi infra, switched from Unifi. So far no downtime problem yet.
*
today even worse. wifi keep dc. I cannot tahan already and use back my ax50 router.

will throw away the router

The router belongs to you. In order to use back the router, you need to configure the VLAN to 629 (Digi fibre on TM infra), and set your Digi PPPOE credential. You need to call Digi to obtain the username and password.
*
actually, you can obtain it in the zyxel config.

there is option to show pppoe password

is DiGi fibre as stable as Unifi?

if any issues, how long will they take to resolve? do they depend on unifi to fix the issues?
*
Mine is digi riding on unifi but yesterday unifi got connection problem at my building. Many residence reported downtime but digi connection still ON.
