Hi if pay car insurance online using affin duo can get CB? since it's not auto deduct.

Depending MCC as per usual. Auto deduct not a requirement, I use to manual pay my great eastern life insurance also can get.

I was late by few days for both of my cards last month. first time ever since i have the cards for few yrs.

Called in to request waiver, like others already mentioned, feel like CS not so willing to do that, but nevertheless the request is now in and subject to approval.

one card kena late charge AND interest charge, they reversed late charge only.
another card kena one charge only, it is reversed.

my other principal cardholder

card1: finance charge 17.xx
card2: finance charge 5x.xx

when called CS, just conveniently using card1 info to kickstart request for both card1 and card2 waiver. reconfirmed with CS, she submitted approval for both cards.

guess what, mgmt only approved card1 17.xx waiver only. received reject email for 5x.xx waiver request

probably should've used card2 info to request for waiver instead haha

FYI: my point going to expire this month, so plan to use for SST redemption. normally SST will have the best rewards. but not for Affin.

no, statement date is already pre-determined when the card is approved/issued.

affin's statement dates are limited anyway, and not allowed to be changed (last i know)


better call CS to enquire few info:

1) possiiblity to change statement date
2) available statement dates to choose

then, share the info here

dun think would make any diff, they will pick the lower one to waive like my case.

Finally cancel my affin duo with lowest CL that I have, 5k.

Plan to purchase iPhone at Switch for the RM 250 voucher but CL not enough. Call and ask the possibility of temp CL increase. But not allow, then directly request for the cancellation.
