Got some minimum amount (1k or 2k can't remember), that's all. Must be 12 month period. Easiest way to apply that I've found is you login to affin and then use the 'chat now' there.

Spend RM3080 to get RM80 cash back = 2.597% effective cash back, right ?

For me 2.597% is just a number
It's like u spend RM1667 to get RM50, will you spend another RM1413 to get another RM30?

just noticed Affin VS has no "3x wave limit"

after hitting 4x wave, i called CS this morning if they changed the limit. CS was not aware/gotten any memo of such change -- expected

until now, already waved my VS for 7th times since last pin reset. all goes thru --- supermarket, departmental, f&b, car park, etc.

For those playing multiple cards then have to compare apple to apple, easiest with %.

E.g. because got affin duo, the Barcelona/OCBC cards can just keep unless it is maxed out, because even RM30/RM1413 is better than their 1%.

All these transactions you made can get Cashback? Any min spent amount to be entitled to Cashback for eg like PBB QMC?

any amount as long as contactless, without any pin entry (>rm250)

if u try the apply card form, it only allow you to choose Duo+

I guess no more standalone VS.

luckily I gotten (different principal) a standalone VS with Duo+ logo. that time, didn't know it was for Duo+ since they haven't launched it yet, but card artwork already changed.

Affin bank not bad, submit complaint about branch not pick up the call as I call like 20+ time. Then cs call me and follow up. Next day call the same branch, finally got people pick up the call 👍

The "3X wave limit", do you mean per day? I noticed that if I tried to wave the 4th time on the same day, it won't go through. Previously, CS clarified that it is their policy that can't be more than 3X wave per day. Has this restriction been lifted? And your 7th time wave also refers to 7x times per day or in a span of few days?

it was "3x wave limit" cumulative. it doesnt reset automatically until a PIN entry.


my card now, already 11th wave txn. if i split by days --- 1, 3, 3, 1, 1, 2 (today) <-- later i'll swipe 2x more to validate your info :thumbsup:


if what CS told you is true (3x wave per day), technically i havent hit my daily limit yet. on the other hand, it is almost "no limit" since you can wave "3x per day" continously without being blocked or need to reset by pin. of course, pin reset required if you're heavy spending within the day

I experienced once where cumulative wave for 3 times then the 4th times can’t go through. Reset with a pin swipe then following can continue wave. Hope this clarifies

just got my duo card and activated visa only for the 3%.

took them more than 1 month from approval until i get the card.

went to do thumb print but the staff never ask me to fill in form for online banking ended up i have to go another round just for the online banking tac.

now got offered with CIP 6 months 0% rm 15k or 80% of available credit limit.

my questions, the CIP will see which 1 ? they will give 15k or you only can take up to 80% of available credit limit? i only have limit of 8k.

if i take 80% of my available credit limit, which is 6.4k and rm 1066 installment, i just need another rm 2012 to complete the rm 3000 spending for the next 6 months right?

lastly, what you all do with the extra money ? because i dont know what to do with it.

CIP is not counted under cashback calculation, only BT does. Max you'll get is 80% of approved limit. This CIP will also appear on your CCRIS record until it is completed.
