Hi guys, I just applied for affin duo several weeks ago and no news from bank until today. I asked the agent and he said normally it takes 7 to 10 working days for the application to process. I learnt from my employer that the bank called for confirmation of working status last Thursday, so I thought the process did go through, and I will get either approval or reject call from the bank , or at least in email, but so far nothing. Is this normal? Or should I continue to wait? Thanks for any reply.

No, got technical error (but effect is same).

You took 15000 for 6 months, meaning your statement will show 2500 per month in repayment for this. Your statement will not show 15000 outstanding.

But the effect is correct, since your statement 'starts' at 2500, you spend 2667 total statement amount will be over 5k (even after you get cashback and everything).

it is a "reserved" outstanding, BUT not posted into your statement, hence your statement balance doesnt include the BT outstanding "reserved" by the system

If show like that you will have to pay 17667 for 1st month. This is standard across most banks (some like SCB have a separate account number for the balance transfer).

I think almost all holders have gotten the offer before and most would have taken it. Free money after all.
