Man now that I have switched to iOS, kinda missing AA, now I need to go down the Carlinkit dongle path and install Autokit apk on the HU?

found this based on searches:
http://121.40.123.198:8080/AutoKit/AutoKit....06.27.1555.apk

Official website links to http://121.40.123.198:8080/autokit/autokit.apk

so follow the older apk or use the newer version?

Edit: this is the CCPA I plan to buy

Yes need to use Carlinkit and Autokit.apk.

The 1st URL you gave is right for X50.
2nd URL is the latest which doesn't work in X50 and will crash.

CPC200-CCPA works and connects 100% of the time for me but the issue is with the audio skips that happens once in a while when in wireless mode.
Do take note. Wired anyway better audio and no skips.

I been using CPC200-CMAP which is the wired version I feel is less buggy Autokit app (Autokit 2019). But Autokit 2019 doesn't work with CPC200-CCPA.

Summary:
CPC200-CCPA - It works with Wired + Wireless CP & AA. Wireless CP having audio skips. Works for X50 using Autokit URL1
CPC200-Autokit - It works with Wired + Wireless CP. AA only wired supported. Haven't tried to see if having audio skips.
CPC200-CMAP - It works with Wired CP & AA only. Works with X50 using Autokit 2019.

Autokit 2019: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1eqcDN0edM...0dXKvxshQ-JChLQ

If you want, can try to go with CPC200-Autokit to see if it have the audio skips that we getting with CPC200-CCPA.

Hi all.
Is there a difference for Rm600 DSP that doesn't support Bluetooth compared with paying double for Bluetooth support?

As my phone will connect to HU with Bluetooth.
Thus the HU will send sound to DSP to processed before sending to Speaker correct?
In that case getting a DSP with Bluetooth support makes no difference??

I read from this forum, this seems a better way if I want to have control from steering and also retain other notification sounds from HU. As connecting direct to DSP will disable all above.

I am using Audxeon D1680. It has bluetooth but it is not able to play for both source at the same time. ie HU + direct bluetooth. Maybe some more expensive DSP can play both inputs simultaneously.

For me I connect my phone direct to the DSP's bluetooth as the quality is miles better than going through HU.

To control volume/next track, you can press volume button of your phone, OK Google Hey Siri, control from smartwatch or get a small bluetooth remote control and stick it somewhere convenient.

Only sounds you will lose is parking sensors beep and auto parking bell sounds. Other warning sounds are not from HU and will continue to work.

Which model are you looking at? Seems quite expensive.

No, I was saying my car battery died after 22 months.

Typically battery should have 1 year warranty.
Some branded may give longer than it.

22 months actually pretty standard especially for one that have so much electronic usage.

Perodua's battery with start stop also around this price range considering their car is around affordable range would turn out to be costly for them.

Thanks for your explanation.
I am willing to sacrifice the quality a bit but prefer to connect to HU so I can get all the music plus sounds from HU.

I am comparing MeiYin DSP
RM700
7 Band in Equaliser
Doesn't support Bluetooth

Or

TPR DSP RM1300
31 Band in Equaliser
Support Bluetooth connection

Wanna know apart from the quality difference, if I am able to benefits from the Bluetooth feature for my use case (connect to HU)

Nope, sound over priced in both version.
RM700 for 7 bands EQ.
You must be stupid if you paid for it.
Proton X50 came with 6 bands EQ and it doesn't help much.

For Rm1300, I think it is you better look for CrossFire DSP that buildin subwoofer or something similar.

Just my 2 cents, I could be an idiot too.

Depends which SC, would suggest you inform the SA not to update and keep a paper covering the screen indicating "DON"T UPDATE HEAD UNIT" just to be sure.

I guess that you mean the CCPW model based off this in the description:
CCPA (Wireless CarPlay and Wireless Android Auto): Not only use CarPlay wirelessly, but also use Android Auto wirelessly. If you use android phone, this is the best choice for you.
CCPW (Wireless CarPlay and Wired Android Auto): if you only use iphone, this is the best choice for you.
CCPM (Wired CarPlay and Wired Android Auto): you need to connect your phone to the product with a data cable.

If you absolutely need the steering wheel control, then can get a DSP without bluetooth. With that said, no matter how much you digitally signal process, it's still going to sound partly bad because the source is bad.

As for those 2 DSP, for me is overpriced. But to each their own.

For my case, X50 speakers are good enough after EQ that I don't even need the underseat subwoofer that I had from my previous car. Installed it to another car instead.

Any recommendation for shop that sell Audxeon DSP plus installation in Klang valley?

Does the x50fs Stock audio quality sounds better than x50s standard?
I am just wondering if there is a huge difference to spent over rm1k on the upgrade

Yaya.. That should work. Maybe you can go for the CCPW and update to us if it have the skips issue we are having with CCPA.
They for sure are not supporting us anymore. I gave logs they didn't update me after that.

If ok, I sell my CCPA and buy CCPW instead.

Haha. Now you just need to swap your HU to an old one.
Find a friend to change with. Check Carousell / chop shop.

Then as long your HW version not 200 then you can downgrade tongue.gif
