I am just wondering, for those of you who are afraid that Proton will patch or this somehow is a bad thing, have you guys owned a Proton before?

I did the same thing with my Iriz back in 2015/2016, we installed APK after there was a leak on how to do it. During that time and with that HU, there is nothing much that can be installed, but I still remembered I install MX player because my radio was thrash (volume kept going up and down for no reason). Proton did nothing with this circumstance. But then again, maybe Iriz isnt as popular as X50.

I might be wrong, but I dont think it is purely a "bad" thing that more people know about this. There are always pros and cons.

did u guys use fuel 97 for ur X50? some friend of mine said pump 97 once a while can clean up ur fuel tank and have better performance..
performance wise i believe it is better, but how bout mileage? the same litre of fuel, 97 can fo further?

No idea why proton keep retain the Aco Tech as their partners. Why put payment gateway when its all in our smartphone. From fb got user said it become laggy. Understandable due to more resources need for this better view update theme? Or the HU chips already at limit

Turns out Proton can actually provide own version of HU, but still refuses to give AA/CP. ACO said the development for another HU for AA/CP costs money but this HU doesn't cost money meh? ATLAS > ACO Tech Local Automotive Scamming.

Nothing wrong with the older hardware version.
It doesn't mean it is bad.

I just suspected, Proton changing some of the components therefore differentiate it with different version.
The base has not change, this is still SX11A0, so it wasn't an upgrade.

To be honest, for executive and standard, there is not chance to downgrade at the moment due limited resources.

For FS and Premium, there are possibility to downgrade as I know, however with slight change in hardware, I think it is worthwhile to check further.
