For new car, it is advisable to not drive long distance after how many mileage?
long distance = 400km

It’s not bout long distance, but rather don’t floor your pedal and go high RPM.

Don't rev above 3k rpm for the first 1000km

I don't think there will be info so early, expect some rumours/official announcement by end of June.

Unlikely, but not impossible, for Proton to absorb the tax. Initially when tax exemption period was scheduled to end on 31st Dec 2020, Proton was giving out appreciation package to those who may receive their car in 2021. Then the period extended for another 6 months, and also unlikely to extended further. Unless you booked in Sept/Oct 2020 and yet to receive your car by end of June, then Proton should compensate something.

Whether Proton absorbing the tax or giving out any free package, wait for official announcement. Even words from your SA cannot be trusted.
