but, a thought just came to my mind. could proton sendiri not use Preve platform, raise it up to SUV height, redesign the body to hatch style and it'll look like X50?

all those who faced SA insisting that the add-on package is compulsory, I suggest you take your money and walk away. these are unscrupulous SA. if they can do this now, I can imagine other situations where they won't service you after delivery.
take your money & walk. not like that's the only sales outlet in MY. proton dealers are everywhere. dun fall for such scams! |

QUOTE(aegunoru @ Nov 5 2020, 07:51 AM) I daily a HRV and test driven the X50 twice alredy and i must say X50 drives better than the HRV. Comfort wise they are both on par i would say but handling and acceleration, X50 wins. Interior and features in my opinion, X50 is much better and gives you more for the price compared to HRV. ill take X50 any day without hesitation while I agree with you points above, I think where HRV may be better is in its resale value, customer experience (buying & after sales), availability of parts, competency of service centers, long term use (build quality) MGM liked this post

QUOTE(Trinax @ Nov 26 2020, 01:12 PM) Depends on your luck also. If no one else booked the same variant and colour with your dealership, you might be able to get the car real quick if you're lucky. To be honest, the entire system is a joke. We are living in 2020 and proton still cannot standardised the allocation system Exactly! I wonder what kind of production planning system they use? Excel? laytiong liked this post

why so in a hurry to get the car? it's already dec. clearly Proton can't deliver to most of the buyers. also you lose 1 year from the residual value. unless you got no car to use now, i don't see why rush or get so agitated about the delivery. but most importantly, don't kena the sales tricks about buying the package. with X50 & X70, the salesmen are earning enough. dun play their game

If this is a design issue, wouldn't Geely or China drivers found some solution to it? Geely Binyue was launched in 2018. Hope chinese literate drivers can research the chinese forums for answers
unless this is a material defect or Proton using inferior material, then it's Proton's responsibility to fix |

QUOTE(nikaizad @ Oct 15 2021, 03:57 AM) The x50 nvh isn't that great either right? I've heard complaints 80kmh wind noise on the car. Belum test drive yet. She doesn't really like hondas and the civic looks like an ahbeng ricer to her... My personal opinion, Ativa is a damn good value proposition for younger owners especially women. This 9 mths waiting period for X50 is a deal breaker for a lot of peopleThat's the thing, wait list 8 months but she needs a car soon. And the posts since Jun isn't really that inspiring. City hatchback also isn't coming in this year, that's the only honda that I would consider buying Not trolling la bro, waiting list for 8 months is really crazy... might even consider a yaris at this point. Which sucks cause I don't personally like the yaris even though the handling is decent nowadays on toyotas. There's nothing else in the 100k ish bracket that suits a younger demographic. |

QUOTE(zero5177 @ Oct 27 2021, 01:54 PM) Too bad RFID not widely available KL yet, we get like only 1 RFID lane vs 3 Smart Tag lane for same toll booth and very often RFID lane is having longer queue than TnG.. Although RFID is the future, that being said like more than 3 years ago but I don't see any obvious transition I've got different experience. I find RFID lane shorter queue & fast to clear than Smart Tag & TnGo lanes. Love the convenience of auto top up & e-wallet gaining more acceptability with business retailers, wet markets, etc.A quick check where was the most ideal location for RFID sticker? Headlamp or Windscreen? Last time when I install on my car they tested windscreen not suitable because of tinted, wondering would Crystalline or any tinted will have that problem or not and end up install on headlamp Only highways with close toll systems belum implement RFID, namely PLUS & LPT. LEKAS closed system already implemented RFID Mine is stuck on headlight. Now I want to polish my headlight but wondering how to retain the RFID tag. Put tape over it cukup?
