when booking the time, you got firm that u only want passion red? or they call and ask you which color to choose?
just wana to make sure is it firm with 1 color easier and faster, as some even said when which color available then go for which color...

so is it mean firm with 1 color is better? Compare to wait for their call and confirm with u ok with any color?

I asked my SA, he also confirmed priority is given to those who take the optional package.

I gave option either Passion Red or Ocean Blue. The one in stock is Passion Red so I took it. And yes I took the optional package (I took the Utility)

O, ok, now make sense, just now i ask again the branch manager mention, the factory now seems more focus on add on package order, last time it fit the package on dealer center, now even pasang siap siap at the factory site.

Or anyone can share who already get their car is without an accessories package?

Received call from my SA today that my unit litterally arrived. I'm on east Malaysia. So shipping is on the way. Maybe few weeks later so I make a report here first n follow up with u guys. I hope everything when well.

I make booking on 16th sep with bank in Rm500 to 3s dealer by a recommended SA. But loan only approved on 20th Nov which I only able to submit on 13th Nov after all required doc attained. Only after CONFIRMED so called LOU by banker, my SA called to lock-in a unit and then he asked me which color I preferred as he need to submit for allocation. I am guessing the color is compulsory to enter? I'm not sure how it work actually. Sorry if I'm giving wrong info. I don't buy car with proton frequently as this is my 1st time buying a proton.

So my SA take time to explained to me that his 3s dealer currently mostly submiting for the white. More than 50s as he explained. Next is Grey, silver, red, orange n lastly blue. So for the queuing system, u will need to wait for proton for allocation based on unit arrive to dealership. So if u wanna white, u need to wait longest queue. Ironically I wanna get ocean blue. So he said there is only 1 customer ahead. So i just try my luck and don't have much expectation. Maybe might come next year or so?

Somehow today get called by SA that's im next of line as the one queue before me decided otherwise. I ask for the reason but I respect my SA not to disclose the reason of passing it. So he ask me wanna get the car now or wait for longer time. Which mean passing to other customer? Not likely. He told me that only 2 unit allocated this round. 1 is white colour which is over popular and 1 is blue. Last round come orange and red. The rest are test unit and showroom unit before that.

So as we speak. I was confirmed with given chassis number and engine number. And as the rest my SA is handling and I just get my car plate number bought this afternoon. He is so eagerly compare to me cos he said it's the first ocean blue arrive here to sell to customer. Tbh. I'm quite bz working myself. As I tend to buy this as a gift for my mother it's as if the SA more exciting than me. I don't ask for any freebies given by SA if he give i take only. If not and I can leave with that as he get extra commission. Now is a tough time which I understand. I don't opt for any optional package either nor my SA force me to take the package.

For me, I have to take the optional package to get the car earlier. White flagship, cash.

yesterday my SA told me that Proton HQ forced the dealer to buy the optional accesories & pay cash upfront to Proton HQ. It is up to the dealer whether they want to push to customer or not. He told me that, if i ask Proton HQ, Proton HQ will deny this.

My SA didnt force me to buy the optional accesories, but he told me that, the dealer (boss) will allocate the car to customers who willing to buy the optional accesories.

SA also headache now, they know some customers dont want the optional package but want to get the car early. SA also wants to release the car quickly so that they can get their commission. He also said that some customers angry already with him & dealer.

Time to look for other cars if cant get by this year..

My loan and LOU approved first week of November, I still ain’t got any news from my SA, kept saying last week will get, then this week will get, then this month will get, last I heard was “don’t worry you will get it this year”

My LOU approved in earlier October until now also no news from SA.

before my SA tell me about the "optional" accessories, he said that my worst case scenario is that i will get the car in middle or end of december
i have signed the hire purchase agreement, now just waiting to pay for the downpayment (jet grey, premium)

Same as my sis. SA only said can get car within this year. Worst case scenario before CNY.

If by december still no car, are you all planning to look for other cars (to get the SST discount) or just wait and pay more in 2021?

Just wait and pay more I guess.

By December, most dealers usually won't have stock anymore to deliver by the end of the year unless it's an 'unpopular' model/colour/spec.

I checked on the X70 back in early November and SA said delivery around 2-3 months if book on the spot then and there.

If you really want to look for other cars, better start now haha.

hi, just wondering, that day I test drive flagship and found out that there will be alarm noise if drive above the highway speed limit, then I reconfirm this with my SA and he told me can't off this safety feature... and then i ask him what if i drive 120km/h all the way to Ipoh from KL, then the noise continuously because the highway speed limit is only 110km/h, he told me yes will have this noise....

so i wish to check with u all, anyone encounter this problem??
