Yes, you can disable the highway speed limit. It's under the Setting Menu. You can check out the Proton X50 Quick Guide

funny thing was the SA confirmed that this cant be disable ! and then I say then I dont want to buy this car already... hahahaha

SA don’t know everything. Anyway, it’s under the Dashboard Menu. Go to Settings > Vehicle > OverSpeed Alarm. Here you could Enable/Disable it or set the Overspeed Threshold. I just set 120km/h cos you won’t notice you are that fast when you’re in Sport Mode

SA cant rmbr everything or probably havent attend the training. For example, flagship has auto dimming rear mirror but my SA didnt know until i showed it in the brochure (other variants dont have).

It is true that most SA don't know the details.
For instant the SA I'm dealing with, he told me just went for 2 hrs training.

Do you expect 2 hrs can become expert after that?
With 2 hours, it is is more like any customer go see the car then look at the brochure and maybe a short test drive.

depend on sa. my sa is an uncle dude. no offense, he is really polite, keeps me updated on my car etc, able to discuss and advise on financial parts etc, it just the technical is not his forte. Luckily today all info can found online, he even doesn't know how to activate the ACC on my x70. I had studied from youtube on certain parts for x70 like auto headlamp setting

i still can't believe this fellow can get the free 3M tinted from SA and get the car so fast some more.

my today encounter even worst, but not related to X50 la..
Its my unifi problem, modem/onu unit keep on disconnecting. Today alone already more than 20 times.
Been like that for past few days.
So today i call 100 (unifi call centre) and ask them instead of waiting contractor to come and settle, can i walk in to TM Centre for modem replacement ?
She say CAN.
I somemore double confirm, i just bring my existing modem and they will replace for me ?
They say YES.
and there i goes all the way to TM Centre, queing for 45mins and you guys already guess what happen.
That lady inform me replacement of modem need to do by technician whom will come over to your house,.
TM Centre does not keep stock of Modem.
There goes my 2 and a half hours gone wasting time due to the PRO knowledge of the GODDAMN Call Centre staff.

Now back to X50, been waiting for SA to reply the delivery date but till now still answer...starting boring to keep on waiting and wanna look for other alternative dee.
Booking on September and still counting...thinking to stop the TIMER, who knows need to wait until after CNY only got reply...

my SA offered my premium orange. thinking to change to premium or stick with flagship.

All the special features of x50 is in flagship. But premium is still a good deal to some if you compare to HRV. But the orange is solid color, not metallic tho.

Speaking of SA knowledge, they claim all Metallic even they don't seems to be..

By the way wanna check X50 have function to switch to side mirror camera mode when switching on signal?

Yup those colors are solid. Metallic only jet grey and blue i think (for now). X50 side camera will turn on when u signal

will show at the headunit screen or the instrument panel?

Cos i watch some video it will only turn on low speed.

Honda lane watch will turn on camera even high speed.

If I'm not mistaken, it's only active below 30km/h for Proton X50.
