tested the heat shrink mod by rama, https://rama.works/silencing-stabilisers using this heat shrink, 1.5mm, https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=546121290127

while it helps in silencing the tinkling sound, it will lead to mushiness. this means for silent switches, this might be useful, but not for normal switches.

so far, the better option is to stick fabric band-aid on the top part of wire tips. for now i just do this for plate-mount stabilizers, to see if they can hold up.

anyone can help me choose solder wire for soldering keyboard, there's so much brand, size on lazada/shopee.... which one to choose?

personally find that the 0.6mm Mechanic solder works great. also tested 0.8mm before and it was too thick

What are your inexpensive options when brown switches, even with O-rings, are still too loud for your liking?

Lubrication isn't cheap. Neither are specific silent/quiet switches. Especially so, when you are opting for a keyboard from the budget end of the scale like a Tecware Phantom or a Cooler Master CK350/CK550, and the value of doing so isn't there.

I know some people mention soft pads, but is that even available in Malaysia?

I'm on the market for new keyboard. Currently using Logitech g513 but this keyboard already double typing, rgb not working, and not registering input sometimes.

Originally want to buy either Logitech g813 or Corsair k95 platinum xt, but reddit enthusiast said both are shit keyboard manufacturer and said only ducky keyboard make the best mech kb.

I want to ask where else to find ducky kb other than shopee and lazada because both brown keys I want to find are sold out. I specifically want the ducky shine 7. Thanks

Hi, I want to ask about your Logitech G513 keyboard problems, same as mine G613, except it doesn't have led.... how many keys you have now? Mine have 10 keys.... most Numbers (numpad with NumLock key ), right arrow.

base on my experience with ducky and iKBC, iKBC stabs feels nicer stock.
but both mine are the lower spec/line of keyboards.

ikbc mf108 is a 5.5-pound full-aluminum beast (2.5kg). at that price, it's a damn good deal.

ikbc is a china manufacturer amongst other big brands like leopold, varmillo, filco, ducky.

not sure why shopee and lazada sell so expensive, they are usually cheaper compared to other big brands.

standard cherry mx switches, pbt keycaps and metal plate mounted. You can actually go Viewnet to test the keyboards out before purchase, iinm they have several models available.

don't say expensive first. this model is the latest edition (v3) of their full-metal mf series, not their usual models with plastic case.

Not good deal. Corsair and Logitech at that price have volume wheel, media keys, macros

depends on what u looking for in a kibod thou.
even with the extra features, u urself have read in reddit that both are shit kibod manufacturer. plus, u also experienced it urself with ur logi kibod.

anyhow, if on stock, i prefer the typing experience with iKBC(comparing to ducky). nicer stabs since switches are both by cherry. but again, i have an old ducky compare to newer gen of iKBC.
can ask horns in-depth review of kibods. he has more kibods than me.

The MF108 is their top of the line and slightly better quality than the Ducky Shine 7 (Full alu top and bottom vs zinc top and plastic bottom)

Corsair at that price only has alu top and plastic bottom.

Plus IKBC is highly regarded (though less famous) by r/mk.

Other good brands I would recommend are Leopold and Durgod.
